Disappointing but there are always risks. The markdown seems overdone. A chance to top-up. This situation reminds me of Centamin where one was always looking to next year.

AU buy trades at Fidelity10 May 2025 15:43

Fidelity have confirmed that ANGLOGOLD ASHANTI PLC is restricted to sells only.

The restriction they say is due to the fees involved in settling trades for the asset.

I am a long time CEY and AU share holder.

Yesterday Fidelity stopped all buys of AU. I have asked for an explanation but I have not had a reply as yet.

Is there a problem with AU?

(Last year Fidelity stopped RIT buys for several months before reinstating the buy option. No explanation).
