RE: IR Silence & The Missed March Milestone — Time for an Update?16 Apr 2026 10:21
Cheers, harleygreen. Good to be back in the trenches. You’re right—it’s a breath of fresh air to actually discuss strategy rather than wading through the usual troll-swamp of "ill-informed tripe."
Regarding the silence: I’m leaning toward the "closed period" theory. With Zamboni being a related party in the SFE deal, the legal gymnastics for that independent valuation have to be watertight. SYME being "cantankerous" is a given, but if they’re busy dotting the i’s on a deal that finally gives us direct inventory ownership, I’m content to let them cook. The June 30th backstop on the funding facility suggests they’ve given themselves a buffer for a reason.
While we wait for SYME to find its legs, have you taken a look at Oriole Resources (ORR)?
If you want a contrast to SYME’s "vague" updates, check the ORR news feed from this week. They just dropped a massive RNS (April 13) increasing their Mbe Gold project resources to 1.23 million ounces. They are hitting every milestone—maiden JORC, step-out drilling, the lot. It’s a completely different vibe; real assets, real results, and a market cap that hasn't even begun to price in a million-plus ounces of gold yet. Worth a look if you’re looking to park some "waiting room" capital in something that’s actually moving.
Anyway, I’m buckled in for the SYME ride regardless. As you say, when the rise comes, the flotsam will disappear as usual!
Stay in touch, mate. Let's see what the next RNS brings.
