The farmer knows we’ve had mining rights since 2011.
He know once we have all mining approvals we have land access through mining rights.
His property is worth 20-30m rand not 200m. That’s estimate from friend who married a bok whose family own fruit and game farms.
Steenkamp I would believe has worked with AfriForum to hike value of property. He’s playing a game. If I knew about interdict order in April then AfriForum certainly did. Hence why Salaita and Lukin were top of farm list and when released would help breed fear, anger in SA
I believe we’ll get property sooner than via Courts, but should not be paying more than above. It’s in farmers interest to come to commercial deal as fighting 2 concurrent cases. At 67 years old, do you want that battle?
The governments in US and U.K. could both claim the land if required to do so if it happened in their respective countries through eminent domain and compulsory purchase orders.
So we get the land, and that’s the one factor holding back the share price. Offtake is nearly complete and this is regular project finance. Train is almost ready to leave the station.
