I’ve been told that nonsense the land is worth 200m Rand. This should be questioned not accepted. The value of the land is not increased by the existence of coal under the MPRDA. Big space but just bush and a few lodges which are ‘nothing special’ Publicity to jack up value

The farmer knows we’ve had mining rights since 2011. He know once we have all mining approvals we have land access through mining rights. His property is worth 20-30m rand not 200m. What good is one piece of land to Chinese? More importantly, we have the NOMR which carries access. We can obtain land access through MPRDA. I’m assuming that’s why 34DegSth put up the link. We will get the land it’s just how long we have to wait. But we don’t need it tomorrow as waiting on financing.

I thought this would be getting more attention particularly as Ramaphosa talking about speeding up land expropriated yesterday. Looks like things might be moving along here soon.
