Hm yeah - something is definitely brewing... - good progress made imo - UFO were never going to hold on to all the assets of EH and convert into a fully working mine. JV-ing it so as to retain a level of ownership whilst minimising their CAPEX needed to further explore / develop it (won't be operational for a few years) is shrewd business.

Mopping up the buys atm... can't wait for the Hanc*ck announcement - big fish about to be hooked.

news this morning is interesting and positive in my view. we needed a partner to do the hard-graft on eh - this way we get a free ticket (zero capex) up to mining and then a decision as to whether we want to put money in to retain our 30%. or just sit on a permanent 2% free-ride...

in the interim, we get a jv set up for han**** to start generating our own cash, money of which goes into further exploration and the pgm plays + will allow ufo to save to retain the 30% when it gets to an operational status.

either way, quit whinging or get out :d

Agreed - i won't be making any silly moves, but I do expect a form of update relating to this particular deal shortly. There must have been a good reason / strategic call made not to update on that specifically in yesterday's RNS.

Well they did communicate plans via the webinar on 22-Jan-25 and then again provided a holistic RNS update yesterday (excl EH JV progress) so.... maybe wait until the end of Q1?

No I fully understand that - it's high-time the board need to back up their statements - the end of Q1 will be a real acid test to see if they can meet the target for the EH JV that they announced only two months ago. Guy couldn't have been clearer with his comments.

I expect an update as to who they are talking to / specific terms of the deal (even if not signed) as a minimum by the 31st. They have set this expectation and they must deliver.

Wouldn't it just! worth noting that Zeus have a current 'fair value' target of 1.1p.

It's interesting to consider how and why UFO reached north of 3p in late 2020 - appreciating that the 'spike' was shortly lived. Hopefully this time around it will stick when it heads north again.

Macro sentiment continues to build for minerals - arguably stronger than in 2020, coinciding with the start of Trump's term. The BoD just need to get a couple of these JVs / sales over the line and I think we'll see the climb again. Think we're close.

Why would it only +100% - if the mcap gets back to £150m+ (which it hit in 2020) it'll be over 2p. (i.e. x30 gain - or 3,000% from where we are today) - mcap is unbelievably low atm - this is AIM - madness can happen both ways and we're already at the bottom.

In the webinar he only ever mentions a JV for EH - he refers to the possibility of JVs to full sales for other projects.

22-Jan-25 - (35:42 ) into the interview (after already having stated that a JV on Elizabeth Hill is targeted for the end of Q1), Guy stated:

"As I (already) indicated, one of the transactions that we will convert in Q1 will generate cash for Alien to allow us to move forward)." (i.e. no raise for shareholders).

Place your bets - not long to wait.

I guess companies operating adjacent to UFO's tenements that want to increase the amount of resource in their ownership? like you've seen on the presentation slides previously.
