also at one point this morning i was 17.5x up on my HE1 purchase. Just goes to show the value for money you can obtain when you buy low... like at BIDS right now...

Well we all called a delay notice… certainly didn’t expect the one that was issued. Not being able to verify the number of shares in existence (in spite of his confirmation of the number to us) is alarming. Broker is probably having a hard time tallying the actual number because amit gave himself a large number of additional shares over the last few years, likely without paying any sort of consideration for them. If this scenario is real then I reckon it will be down to this. Sheer incompetence - be interested to see if any of the legal pressures shareholders are keen to put on him at this juncture will force this whole piece to an end (hopefully still a positive one).

re 'timescales / an end point' - all i'm after is contact via the 3rd party agent to my broker to land. If I see that's happened then I am sure the money for both transactions will follow. This contact should have happened by tomorrow COB - which means there is another delay notice about to be cooked up. I'm a believer of the narrative that there's a lot to sort out administratively for the 3rd party before the formal contact is able to be made to all - if this date (for 3rd party contact - not payment) pushes out by another couple of weeks, i'll buy it. Any longer then I think i'l be on your side of the fence.

re Antha - amit was co-founder with his brother for biosense & ended up taking home the biggest payday out of the two of them. Impulse Dynamics was one of theirs too - which sold for a cool $125m. He's clearly not that daft & has a lot of history in this field.

In terms of shares / the sale of a company - surely the end result is more important than the journey?

he's done it before with biosense (that's the evidence) + he's publicly stated ctag has sold for $275m (more recorded evidence)

All the evidence anyone has seen for the deal is via amit's updates - so based upon this evidence you either fall into the camp of: 'it's on or it's all bs'. I wouldn't continue to bleat on in forums like this if I thought the latter.

I happen to look a little further than just ctag - amit's track record is great re large medical deals like these - he's done it very successfully in the past. If you;re looking for something to swing you into the positive camp i'd say that's it. Either way - no stress here.

Agree - i think a lot of the positive sentiment has returned to aim with the he1 spike - low mcap stocks like this are effectively shell vehicles for new ventures. the new CEO is coming in with a game plan - any firm hand on the tiller will be driving this share price forward - easy short term gains - potentially mammoth long term ones. Why not take a bit of both?

it's painful, it's embarrassing but it's on.

Took out £10k of profit on He1 yesterday & put half in BIDS at the current lows - have another £30k still sitting in there on a free-ride. Always sensible to diversify / altho it's very tempting to move more into BIDS at these prices... don't tempt me.

He's just the resident botfly on duty to prevent any positive sentiment from hiking the share price. there's one employed on almost every board.
