I understand what you are saying Countrybo. I almost can't bear to sell now and have mentally accepted my vast and dire loss. Although every time i look and they've gone down 5p,I think.....*****ks...that's another 5grand I'm worse off. There's no reason in the near term for the share price to rise......but there are plenty of reasons for it to decay further unfortunately.

A painful week as predicted. Unfortunately, next week promises to be the same. More blood letting to come. Why on earth didn't i flog these years ago.....is a question I ask myself several times a week.

Noted....and agreed. They will come good again...but it's years away I think. Everyone will be doing back flips and cartwheels when Conn goes....but that on its own isn't enough and it's 8months away.

Ftse 100 departure is inevitable. There's no positive news here in the short term. I suppose when the share price hits 50p,there'll be buy recommendations.....but a true and positive turn around is years away I'm afraid.

Blimey....this gets even more grim everytime I look at it. Conn's departure (eventually) will make little difference to the share price now I think. Everyone knows that this is years away from being on the right track and who on earth can clean up Conns mess? Amazing that he's still on the gravy train, just goes to show how the whole board obviously don't give a monkey's now. Sub 50p is an absolute cert now.

Things almost certainly won't be on the up in the next 12months....let alone six. It'll realistically take years to get us back on track.

The actual departure of Conn will probably send the share price up.....but we've got another 8months of him there. Very grim indeed. Also....if there isnt any improvement in the next statement, we'll be totally on the deck....and unfortunately,I don't see our pain ending in the next 24months. Conn has taken Centrica in the absolute opposite direction to where we need to be with the way the world is these days.

I'd hold out for 55p if I were you lse...coz i think you'll see it.

We thought 90p was the bottom and everything was already factored in. Investors Chronicle says we've not seen the bottom yet....and i tend to agree with them. I think we'll see the 50's.

I'm glad I put my dividends st. Elsewhere since 2013....otherwise it'd look even more flamin tragic for me.

Conn has bought a massive amount of Centrica shares, it'll obviously prove that he has a huge amount of confidence in the company and that he really did find a few things in the results encouraging. 219 shares....mmmm….says it all. No doubt the weekend papers will be the nail in the coffin for this ruddy share. rip centrica

Unfortunately...i do have to agree with you lse. It's very depressing. Claire miles has now quit Centrica too.

It's difficult to know wtf to buy at the moment. There's much uncertainty in the air. Glad I didn't buy kier...i was convinced they were a great price at 150p...now 61p. Centrica seem good value comparatively....but you've got to be brave to buy at the moment. If only i could turn the clock back 6 years.

I very very much doubt you'll see anyone paying 150p for these now.

I've just watched Conn deliver the results (youtube) and it's all really encouraging...….he keeps repeating. Unfortunately, looking at my pile of money that has shrunk over 75% since he came along, I can't for the life of me see wtf there is to be encouraged about....apart from his departure. He should be an MP.
