Yep....and 337p for my average. Prudential and legal and general look good value now. Centrica doesn't...not even at this price.

Yep...it'll most certainly be down we go. Hot September is forecast weather wise and even without that kind of news, Centrica has Massive debt and is making no money. Not worth a punt above 50p.

Centrica are really in bad shape now unfortunately. I honestly can't see them getting out of this utter mess. Conn's nonsense about how encouraging some aspects are....(like gaining 49 customers in this quarter, when they've lost literally millions of them in the past few years) is just meaningless and very obviously total desperation. A hatchet job good and proper.

....and there won't be an upturn until Conn has gone. Even then, all the damage has been done and we're in a proper mess. Results have been very poor and i can't see any positives unfortunately.

They've got absolutely nothing right in the past few years and I don't think they'll be starting now. I'm still firmly expecting sub 50p. There's obviously no buyout imminent as they wouldn't be allowed to be buying stock now.

Conn will most likely put his kiss of death on them. 50p here we come.

Yes Mr Cash....i absolutely agree. They'll be adjusting the divi in the near future for sure. That'll be another hammer blow. A very big one.

Unfortunately, at present (as far as i know) the share price is where you'd expect it...given the results and debt mountain. Absolutely no need for them to be 70p. We are likely to see 50p imho. It will be incredibly difficult to gain back the millions of customers we've lost over the years. A tragic investment story.

I'm afraid it'll take almost a miracle to turn Centrica around. ...and I really hope a rights issue isn't on the table. I certainly won't be putting any money into a rights issue,as we all know very well, they'll be trading at a 20ish % discount a month after the 'offer'.

Yep...Red is the colour for the foreseeable and not just with Centrica. A period of much grimness lies ahead for all sectors i think. We're heading for sub 50p here whatever happens.

Yeh ..thanks option1. When they dropped to 3quid from my 337p average, i thought...they're as safe as houses,they'll be alright. Now they are 65p....and I'm thinking Oscar Pistorius has more chance of getting athletes foot than i do of seeing 337p again. An expensive lesson.

Yep.....i think a rights issue will do more harm than good. We simply need to see an improvement in customer numbers and for Conn to kindly F off. This will be a good start.

Totally agree Bazzer.....as long as Conn is even in the building Centrica will be in a weak position. What a disaster.
