My HE1 journey 2021-202520 Aug 2025 14:13
For information only.
Helium One was my first dabble in AIM. After some considerable research I bought in at 9.10p on 01/09/2021 in an attempt to take advantage of a spectacular drop from 28.50p just before. I was not a daily trader, but I did top-up and withdraw amounts every few weeks or so as opportunities arose. As the share price gradually slipped and slipped I topped up and as the occasional crest arose I mitigated losses or made a slight profit. I sold my last tranche of shares for 0.69p on 30/07/2025. Over that 46 month period I made 47 buys (between £600 and £3,000 each) totalling £74,2230 and I made 29 sells totalling £83,505. After the mostly depressing rollercoaster ride of HE1 and AIM (the closest thing to the Wild West in financial trading I've ever experienced) I was over the moon to come out of it with £9,282 profit. Something I consider a considerable achievement. I thank you all for your comments which were of great use or utter nonsense in equal measure. I thank the many contributors and their (sometimes entertaining 'banter'). It will be a shame not to see Pub's 'Rockets' spiralling up into ultra-positivity, Toffers, and too many others to name. Especially those with serious points to make. It's sort of been quite fun. As for my prognosis on HE1, after having been the victim of at least 6 dilutions, and there still not being enough money to build a full scale plant, the only likely event is more cash garnering to the shareholders' detriment. I do however think HE1 will make money but that is too far away from now to interest me at the moment. Also the costs of making that happen will be large. It will be at least a decade until this becomes a 'multi-bagger' (a term I learnt on here). Good luck however to everyone still invested and I wish you all fair winds. Enjoy the ride. (PS. My greatest sympathies go to those marooned on 25-28p buys made in mid-2021. I desperately hope you retain your sanity and eventually recover most if not all your losses.) Best wishes all.
