And you are one of the worst. As usual someone posts something factual and/or analytical and you come over all drama queen.
Not desperate in the slightest. I am well in profit on this unlike you: BTW for the fourth time.
On Steelmin I was asked why I thought it had turned out well and I gave the analysis. It has turned out okay. We don't know what the value is yet but it is not negative or zero.
Do you want me to go back and dig out all the drivel you were coming out with about the loan to Steelmin? Or why we would lose JMS or Steelmin would never repay the loan or Steelmin was a scam?
The post on Para Resources was a link to an RNS in which they said they said they were repaying the El Limon loan: what is desperate about that? It is factual and most people would not have seen the RNS, particularly as it come out only a few minutes earlier.
When the El Limon money comes back (probably next week) then the cash on deposit will be pretty close to RRR's total market capitalisation. In what parallel universe would an investor be desperate about that?
Further JMS has said it will declare its next dividend in June/July.
As far as I can see things are going in the right direction, not quite as fast as people would like but in the real world things don't.
Some big things in the pipeline: the company has said for months it is dealing with Kenya and that it has made progress. I expect we will hear something by the end of June and, guess, the gold price is picking up.
RRR has to make a decision on DRC in the next few days. I really hope it is a goer and we press the button. Given the price movement in Cobalt and Copper, we have a cheap deal. The processing plant next door is due to start up in October 2018, so the timing is great. Getting the necessary permits in place to start putting throughput into that plant from early 2019 would be fantastic.
Another one to cheer you up. The year end is June 30th. Currently, because of asset write offs the company has no distributable reserves. Some of those assets can now be written back. I don't know but it might be that special dividends, share buybacks and/or distributions in specie are possible after June. Personally, I would prefer that they didn't do any of them but other people take a different view.
As I am sure you always do; DYOR.
