Why have you interestingly ignored the Ossian discovery 42/4-1Z where there was an oil and gas discovery within the Mid North sea area ?

Oil was found in the Z2 Hauptdolomit and gas in the lower carboniferous sands.

Oil flowed at 3,500 barrels per day when tested.

Large Zechstein oil fields are also present further north and also onshore in Poland. Poland has 500 mmbbls STOOIP Barnowko-Mostno-Buzwewo field and is the largest one for them and thats very similar to the Balvenie prospect in P2331 .

What is clear from my research is industry are very much awaiting the results of West Newton .

This is an exploration hot spot with very serious interest being shown by many large and small companies.

Graham Heard - Project team leader of Horizon Energy's linkedin has references to West Newton too.

I found a brochure for Investment Opportunities by Horizon Energy targeting the Zechstein offshore and referencing West Newton's current CPR.

This is very positive that other industry players are aware of West Newton's huge potential.

I found it interesting when Sachin spoke of the Zechstein Reefs yesterday in his interview, so me being me I decided to do some research and investigate more.

Sachin said on the lines of ..The true value of the field will come evident to market & to industry participants, very keenly watching the results of West Newton. The first real play in the UK for 'Zechstein Reefs' & for the industry more broadly watching to understand what we have here.
