Oil price will not just sit here. Markets are going to rise. You will not see tapering. The dollar will fall. It has only just gone up due to worry an fear. The Western world is in a huge amount of trouble. China is the biggest economy in the world right now. Evergrande was never the next Lehmans...same with covid covid...shale...Iran. Oil is still rising and it is cheap.

There are other headwinds like inflation in the Eurozone. You have to also realise that central banks need some one to blame here. OPEC will say its not them and they will blame it on food prices etc. The truth is core inflation is increasing with out energy prices.

. Oil producers are part of that, but still OPEC no doubt will see themselves as separate, I guess they would say this is from loose monetary policy. Oil , gas an energy is normally just a shift in relative pricing. But oil is creeping up and will continue to.

I see tapering as just a distortion with central banks buying bonds an such like . Look at the Fed threatening to taper. It really can't go on like this.

Bottom line is, Oil price will just keep rising.

The Ukraine wants Germany and the USA to impose sanctions on Russia’s gas exports monopoly. Gazprom has a controversial deal with Hungary and Kiev has lost out of it's transit capacities and will lose out.

Now Kiev is not happy so this becomes political. The contract will supply 4.5 billion cubic meters of Russian natural gas to Hungary til 2036. But not through Ukrainian routes.
