Oil is powering the modern world with pent up demand in terms of travel with covid no longer being the threat it was in 2020. Globally we will not have the supply to fulfil this demand over the next decade. I see the Brent Oil price passing 100 Dollars by mid 2022 and rising over several years.

In terms of Union Jack Oil we are small cap company with low running costs and in my mind the Wressle asset at this moment in time is extremely important to us. I am confident that the flows rates will be significant and I would hope that the revised CPR is equally promising.

Off of a single well at Wressle we could generate free cash flow IRO of £5-7 Million just on today's oil price. With Wressle being in it's infancy at this point I would hope to gain some institutional investor's attention. Then of course we have the North Kelsey asset, a possible analogue of Wressle.

And I have not mentioned Biscathorpe, West Newton or Keddington.

I conclude this will be a win win for me.

From a personal investment perspective of course I want Brent Oil as high as possible to generate free cash flow from Wressle.

On a wider note I am highlighting the fallacy of importing large amounts of hydrocarbons when we should be concentrating on home grown energy.

The industry needs to act fast before the new price cap takes affect in April. On top of that we will have many other planned increases... community charge going up, income tax, national insurance, food inflation.

Just reading an article on the FT regarding energy bills rising. Bills could jump £700 to £2000 with soaring prices.

Reading some comments too:

Plus they lead to higher energy prices and inflation. You see they reduce the demand destruction signal from higher prices.
