A windfall tax on oil an gas companies could be risky as it will not encourage companies to drill and will in turn increase the problem that we have with supply V the massive surge that we will be seeing in Oil.

Nice post VerbierDave. Plenty to be said here. So Oil is around $85. My stance is oil is going higher.

The price of oil an gas stocks have been materially lower than oil itself, which has been rising. Things just aren’t happening normally here with the oil price going up in this current cycle.

We have low rig counts, investment in to oil production is low and this does not add up as being at the top of a cycle. Normally you see high investment, production growing v the supply etc

Clearly Union Jack Oil is way too cheap, which makes me realise that Oil is way too cheap too.

Fundamentally there is nothing that convinces me that over the next few years we will not see oil continue to rise. Yes, there will be pull backs of course, but i do see $140 Oil price in a few years from now.

We already are Chitty and anybody that misses this opportunity will question why they did in ten years time when we will still be using oil. By then the population will be much higher with rises in living standards. There is meaningful upside to be had here. Oil companies are way undervalued, just like Union Jack Oil. It is the energy ignorance that is to blame here with not many alternatives yet to replace fossil fuels. The demand will be huge versus the supply for oil over the next decade.

Today's Brent price IRO 90 Dollars is great, but it will get better. My guess also is we are approaching the next milestone of $3,000,000 for Wressle already. The CPR RNS can not be too far away either and I am confident that David already has many great plans to reward us investors with shareholder value.
