This is a strong buy for me with the revenues we are going to bank next year. We can also offset against the windfall claim back tax savings worth 91p of every £1 invested in fossil fuel extraction in the UK. That allowance is continuing. So happy days with the works budgeted for an planned next year.

We see China restrictions loosening, SPR winding down, EU Russian oil import embargo, Russian tanker insurance ban, OPEC cuts looming, global inventories draining, producer restraints, pipeline restrictions etc etc

The only thing that will eventually bring prices down is when they go too high with demand destruction.

The share buy back is not there to support the price. It is to lower the amount of shares in issue ; earnings per share.

It is for the company to decide when they want to do a buyback.
