Wressle is a great well an the clues are there with still no water cut an the pressure readings so good. The Gaffney Cline report was not appreciated enough.

As for the works on site everything is going in the right direction. There is 'plenty' to look forward to with Union Jack Oil this year.

In terms of the *****tone Flags development, whilst we are currently finalising the detailed development plan and recognising that we will require additional planning and permitting, I can advise that;



The existing Wressle-1 well will continue to produce from the Ashover Grit and then in due course from the Ashover Grit and Wingfield Flags combined.
A new well or wells will be drilled to produce solely from the *****tone Flags.
At the end of production from the Wressle-1 well this may be side-tracked to become an additional *****tone Flags producer.


So the short answer to the question is that “Grit Oil” will not be impacted by the *****tone Flags development which will be incremental to Ashover Grit production.

This will put pressure on the oil price upwards whether it is fair or not

the only thing to bring oil price down will be demand destruction.
