What is clear from the release is that the two main targets Hinton and Wilcox appear to have not been hydrocarbon bearing. Of the three secondary targets only one, the Prue, appears to be hydrocarbon bearing and it appears to be just 14 ft thick. Swabbing might suggest it doesn't free flow to surface under reservoir pressure. This is clearly not a Moccasin well.It will be classed as a "success" in finding hydrocarbons but this is not likely to be significant in terms of production volumes and payback times.

But experience says that Sark has taken much longer than Mocassin an no news tends to be bad news with these oilers.

They are hardly going to announce bad news on the eve of the half year report ?!
