Let me try to move the debate forward, but asking what is a fair EV (enterprise value) valuation for ODX, before and after a bid.

Well, IDH (Immunodiagnostic Systems Holdings) was taken over last May for c. £110M., an enterprise value of c. £88M.

IDH's full year sales to 31.3.21 were £32.7M., and the H1 loss was about £3M.

= An EV sales multiple of c. 2.7.

Assuming full year ODX sales of say c. £12M., and applying a sales multiple of say c. 1.35, gives a value of c. £16M., or about 9p/share.
I.e. well over double the current share price.

And a bid could see that multiple moving much higher.

That looks like a pretty good margin of safety to me.

This was a share that rose from 6.75p in March 2020 to 107p in October 2020.

All investors suffer losses from time to time, but to lose a fortune on a share that has relatively recently nearly 16-bagged in months ... that is a tragedy.

Why did you not buy it at about 7p, like I did?

I'll tell you why: because you are a buy-high, sell-low, loser, who wastes his time trolling.

I will take investment advice from people who know what they're doing: not thick trolling losers.

Investors were more that willing to invest at 5p per share, but existing shareholders thought that that undervalued the company, so rejected the level of dilution at that s.p.

That's fair enough, because most of the funds wanted were discretionary, so there's a good argument for getting the s.p. up more first, and then raising monies for expansion in better market conditions.

In the meantime, a much smaller fundraising, even at just 5p or so, would be far more palatable than what was initially proposed.

ODX is now in a sound financial position, having sold the massively loss-making Alva site, so it's dishonest of you to mislead about that.

But many share that multibag seems to have had obsessive derampers trolling them with silly nonsense, so that for me is a bullish sign.

It you weren't interested in investing here you wouldn't be posting here so much.

And my posting track record on ODX and IDH is infinitely better than your: I called both absolutely right - ODX overvalued at about ten times the current price, and IDH undervalued at under 60% of its subsequent takeover price.

Well, those who don't learn from their mistakes are condemned to relive them.

ESYS's largest customer, Industrious, raised US$200M. recently from CBRE (22nd. February), which bodes well for its expansion plans ... in partnership with ESYS of course.

“Industrious had a number of offers to consider late last year and was approached by a lot of potential investors. In the end, partnering with CBRE just made too much sense for Industrious’ long-term plans for scalability and growth.”

Industrious has continued to expand and grow amid the pandemic, faring better than some other flexible workspace operators.

The company's pioneering focus on management agreements, which represent nearly 90% of Industrious’ portfolio, has been shown to be nicely resilient in challenging times.

Indeed Industrious believes that it has emerged as the leading flex platform moving forward.

So with flexible workspace expected to continue its rapid expansion this decade, and management agreements a strong sub-trend within this, then Industrious could potentially expand by multiples this decade.

I would estimate that Industrious probably accounts for a few £M. of ESYS's annual turnover, so Industrious expansion alone could potentially add £10M.+ to ESYS's annual revenue this decade.

POS's POS-GRIP patent has a 20-year life, and pre-dates its 2005 floatation, so should be expiring soon or relatively soon.

The finances of ODX are far healthier than you are trying to make out, and I'd be interested in you naming a better value health sector share than this, many of which don't even have any sales or approved products.

My take on the ODX COVID fiasco is that a lot of it was down to simple bad luck, in an extraordinary and fast-moving situation.

But when you're in a hole, stop digging.

The directors here look to me to be doing the right things, and look to me to be entirely capable.

The level of historic losses isn't representative of the underlying profitability of the business.
It related to activities that are discontinued.

The Alva site generated a £4.9m loss in the nine months to 31 December 2021.
It was sold for £1M.

"The sale will significantly reduce the Groups fixed cost base and eliminate a number of potential future liabilities, whilst generating funds for further investment and growth."

The growing H1 revenue is though representative of the turnover growing forward.

Moreover, I regard ODX's Health & Nutrition business to be operating in a very exciting. 'sexy' space.

Look how highly a company like OPTI is rated: market cap. £30M., on annual sales of £2.2M.

Believe it or not Captain, good businessmen and investors look forward, not backwards, so they won't really be interested in the historic losses due to the COVID fiasco.

In addition, spring seems to be a popular time for takeovers, so I would think an ODX takeover in the shorter term is a real possibility.

Don't be surprised if the company soon announces that it is putting itself up for sale, which is often the case when a company has considered it's strategic options, which would also certainly provide a nice boost to the s.p. from this sort of level.

Sorry Captain, I see that you do post about some other shares, though ODX is the one you post most about.

But the actual full year sales, for the year ending tomorrow, should be higher.
