Hiya Wix. PMG, yes heard about that but havent looked yet. DES nice today, Im hoping for a spike and then sell and leave in profit. GKP, went over £2 again but cant hold it. EO - hopefully rig will leave Friday for spud tuesday next week, would think 1.30 on spud, more if guys from XEL jump in with profits.

Sorry to hear about car. CHAR, iM out at moment as I have been buying EO and wanted to bank the profits. Sold half at 198 last week and the rest at 1.86 today. Will look to get back in but maybe let it settle for a couple of weeks. Looks like it is dropping to its 20 day SMA which is about 174p, if youre looking for an entry point. Sold some GKP also and bought more EO and DES

Only just got to computer. Mmmm, this AM would have cbeen an all time high for my PF, but out all day so coulnt trade. GKP, over £2 ! ahh well it will go back soon. Sold my XTA short this morning for £50 and my Barc long this afternoon for £45. Took a bit of kicking with CHAR today later on, but EO and DES nicely up.

I would go with, was one of the first shares I bought in 2009 when I got back into the markets after 18 minths out. Bought at 14p sold at 36p! It was amazing back then, I didnt even look at AIM stocks there was so many FTSE 100 stocks pitential multibaggers. My other ones back then were XTA 370p, Barclays 60p and ASOS 180p and yes sold them all to early! ASOS I got into as my ex was spending about £300 a month with them! They are now 1400p!!!! I would have got back all she spent lololol

Hope so. Im all oil stocks really at moment, which is on purpose as thats where I see gains in next 6 months and last 6 months. However over next few months I want to go into mining and some FTSE 250 just to derisk abit. Next year I will look to get back into house builders as they will start to lift from Q3 2011 I think.

Yeah I think the banks are due a bit of upside soon. Barc Ive gone £30 a point on which is equal to having 3000 shares. Looking at selling at 2.95 so 20x30=£600 tax free! Hopefully in a few days or week, if not I know sometime in next 6 months it will hit that, just need to be paitent. You seem pretty paitent with your shares so i think you'll do well with spreads, its over trading or panic selling which loses you the money. Set a buy price and a sell price and stick to it.

Set up your account as that, you cant play on certain stocks but you then cant lose more than youve got. After a month or so you can always change it. You pay a couple % of spread, for example I have opened a long on Barclays, the bid/offer was 272-273, my open price was 275, so Im down as to sell is 272 so 3 points down from the off. But no other charges. DES, Im holding quite happy that there is oil, the next drill at Racheal is like an appraisal as they know there is oil. It went to 1.70 when there was no oil! If you are looking to sell do it pre spud and I think you'll get at least 1.20 as the short term money comes in. And by the way GKP bbbboooooooooooooooooommmmmmmmmmmmmm : )

afternoon mate. On the net, and I have the app on my I-Phone, these days with 3G in most places its great. Spreads take abit of getting used to, only put down minimum to start and you do have to watch alot in case of turn in market. Key time is when US opens. I would stick to FSTE 100/250 to begin with, however you can go long on AIM shares just watch the spread. Takes time getting used to you dont get best price, however there is no trading fees or taxes which offsets this. As I have said on here Im only putting in smallish amounts as it can turn quite quickly. Also to begin with only take stocks that have guarenteed stop loss( very important). regards
