They tried to tell me that too the first time I called them today. But after napthan advising he bought via AIM I went back to them. Just complete the Canadian tax form on website and you’ll have no issues buying.

You can find int clicking the 3 dots More bottom right on App, then click on the person/cog top right, then in my details at the very bottom it shows you the options for the US and Canadian forms, click on that and you’ll go to external AJ Bell website to fill out the form. It should be instant.

I got my issue with AJ Bell sorted when I called back. I had to fill out the Canadian tax form using the website not the App, and I was instantly able to buy OMI on AIM.

There’s clearly a glitch in the App directing you to fill out the US tax form.

Can anyone advise, I tried to buy this morning via AJ Bell, I was directed to complete a w8-Ben form which is incorrect as not a US stock. When I called AJ Bell they’ve said I can only buy via the Canadian exchange when it opens…

Has any one managed to buy OMI on AIM via AJ Bell?
