Also I can't see the Bangladeshi government wanting to pi55 off the Chinese after taking the trouble to court them to invest in their country, as they are invested across Bangladesh not just in one area. Because if they do the Chinese are not the most forgiving nation on earth. And they usually get what they want eventually.

Come General elections, I know that they are not due yet, but if politicians get this wrong, I'm sure that the electorate will not forget who failed them. As regards the indigenous community, they need electricity and need it fast and if that supplies jobs along the way I can't see any reason why they would be opposed to progress on all fronts. I'm sure GCM have people on the ground already and will do their best to reassure the local communities.

Interesting point 1Earner, although probably the best way to appease the locals,which are incidentally voters as well is to provide employment for these poor unfortunate people who deserve properly paid jobs and electricity to run their companies and homes. Would suspect they could prosper immensely given the opportunity.

I disagree 1Earner, given what's happened at Barapukuria I think our time will come a lot sooner than a lot of folks think. Wouldn't be surprised if the Bangladeshi government have to come up with something to appease the voters.

Hydrogen, I take your point from earlier, but surely they need each other equally as much? That's why I feel that they should work together as Newcrest the miner and GGP as the explorer, if they both stick to what they know jv's all the way this will bring shareholder value imo.

I realise that DGR, I noticed the sarcasm in your post. I'm privileged to have a foot in both camps and I wouldn't sell either at the moment. But it does give a bit of excitement when either one stalls for a while.

DGR, l know it's a bit slow at the moment but it will come. If you have a bit of spare cash try ECR, plenty of action there.

Just tried a couple of dummy sells 100000 and 1000000 both were offered same price, so maybe they are short of stock?
