i think most do tbh. Spread, return cost trips (buy and sell) i would think most are aware of, i tend not to buy stock over 0.5% spread for instance and my broker fees are really small, plus i am looking at DMA to further reduce cost.
FYI
play the game then? we can all see its up and down around 1.5% daily, so play the game...buy at 52 sell at around 53....if you have the funds that is, say 50K plus...its a nice £750 a day using the mms at their game. :)
Fair enough mate....its all about risk management isnt it. Correct entry point and patience.
For instance...i bought tlw at 28p...it dropped to 14p...then shot up to 56p...this was last year btw. Panic and you lose 50% of your capital...know your stock and you make 100% of your capital.
However i do understand your concerns...but it is risk management:)
Patience....we read the news....gas switching to oil...really hard N Hemisphere winter coming...World Manuf all coming on line....give it a month or so...be all good.
Tbh...tullow is an absolute steal at this price....of i had it i wouldn't worry about sticking 250K on a leaving for 2yrs...if only!!
