Good progress at Tarouca

I put a tray of turnips in yesterday Safety ... love hot snazzers, as the pit yackers call them

Anubus, one of the first things I did was pave our back garden, created a few levels and steps. Big flower and shrub boarders and a few dozen planters (mainly chimney pots and Belfast sinks. One managed Trained apple tree, one conifer and ornamental Ivy’s round the fencing. We both hate cutting grass !!! Plus the garden is only about 50x50 feet so any lawn would be unusable 10 months of the year . Lol, it’s always full of junk of ladders or stuff I’m thinking about renovating or chucking away.. I need to build a wood store during the summer so that will cost us some boarder space.. Come on Micheal, thick and fast :-)

My gardens small, but the allotment is huge, half of it is always set with seasonal flowers.. I love them, never tire of them.

I try to grow stuff that will be eaten and is expensive in the shops... even still lots of younger folks turn their noses up at fresh produce... I’ve just potted on 50 bell peppers. Won’t get one till September but they crop right through to November . As crunchy as apples when you first pick them
