There was lots of good operational info JTS, but not enough time to chase it down. We need to raise process water/steam to about 120 centigrade, but the water feed could be solar heated from ambient of 20/25 average. So the energy needed is low. The high temps are needed in the separation of tin and tungsten. Apparently tungsten looses much of its conductivity at around 80 c. Or we use hot air electric dryers... Did you lock on that info Stealthy??? Am I somewhere near .

For the life of me I ain't very bright and I've managed to prove that by not wearing me hearing aids last week and mad dreams of ultraviolet dragonfly's... But , honestly you are now up for the daftest of the week award charty

You may be correct Kevin, but I got the impression it was much more than an idea.

To be honest Mother, most of the folks asking questions remained very production/operational/kit timeline and people focused (self included) we've spent many years waiting to become a mining entity and it was clear that's what folk wanted to discuss. I got the clear impression they would answer any questions we asked, but I for one was far to greedy for hard la Parrilla knowledge to deviate my thinking mate. Something I forgot earlier now, When deciding which bit of rock to mine next a man has to wander about in the dark and plan a course of attack using ultraviolet examination gear. This will now be done by a drone carrying the machine and linked directly into the plants computer network for best practicable excavation modeling.. Some real savvy folks in this squad like

Finally, finally... Each good boy got a bag of WRES goodies with a blow up nun (footpump) included.
I noticed safety had burst his within an hour and spent the whole trip home fiddling with an innertube repair kit he nicked from a Spanish aldi shop..

Finally (for now that is) the sites quality control and lab is the busiest area of all. There is clearly a huge determination to get all possible learning for this production /tailings run.
I had a highly educational visit and enjoyed my time with wres folk and investors alike.

As stated by some already, the existing concentration plant is up and running and producing some product. This is a to be a massive aid in operational learning and design of plant operational metrics in the coming weeks and months. Two new floatation tables have been ordered for the unit and it seem clear this unit is destined for Regua at some point.. (a massive saving potentially).
The monies raised from the current runs should mean our cash reserve stays healthy.

A word about site access. Once you leave the motorway for the first few hundred yards the surface is a bit bumpy, however this soon becomes a good b quality road to and from the mine. The roads within the mine seem a very good standard. My guess is the journey from the motorway to the site gatehouse is around 6 minutes.

The plant will run twenty four seven with an estimated 200 hours per year outage for maintenance. The WRES team were very proud of the kit stating that it was the best mining plant to be had. Built and supplied in Europe and with an excellent spare parts supply chain with depots in Madrid and Portugal.

The crushing circuit has a recirculation ratio of olny 1.5 and product too large is returned from the jig for further crushing. The feed supply, crusher and jig unit requires two persons per shift. The units power lines are installed and the transformer unit is on site.
The next area under civil construction is the mines power plant and process water storage.
The mine requires 40 cubic metres of process water a day. The main pond will supply this for the first years ( at that stage when the pond level is lower the current infered resource can be ratified via a jorc.
The power plant will have an element of solar powered units .
The mine aslo has permission to use existing rain runoffs in the future to supply the sites water storage vessels. The landscape is lower Pennine in appearance with lots of flash rainwater..(we got *wet twice at motorway cafes)

The next thing I noticed of economic importance was that moving the ore to the first stage of processing is either predominantly downhill or on level ground. The run on mine wall is being constructed so that the tipper waggon has only to drop it's load into the jaw crusher feeder bin .. that's millions of tons not needed to be transported uphill ...think about one waggon every ten minutes.. and, the fuel involved..
Aslo, the jaw crusher has this clever automatic hydraulic pick to smash any big blocks of ore that block the feeder bin to minimise manpower and plant outages
