Now then, this is a fascinating little vegetable peeps. Looks stunning in the earth and should be picked at the size of a small apple for it most juicy state, good cooked (not as flavoured as turnip, more of a nutty tang) but delicious grated in salad with lemon...

I inherited the rhubarb I had kevin and it was getting poorer by the year.. dug it up and composted it.. got about 30 news plants in bed and have given some away with more still to share.. 3 or 4 should do me. It’s a valuable cash crop these days.. maybe I should flog some at the garden gate

Lol safety.. I know loads of poachers, bits of unformed creatures often get dropped off at by front and back doorstep. I often wonder lond it takes the poles to kook them manky old geese they nick from everywhere.. , seems hard work when you can just jump a fence and swipe a couple of new born lambs or small deer for the freezer
