Hi ladinlanx
It must be tomorrow 23rd the AGM I have been spying on the shops regularly and things seem to be back to like pre covid times, which is more than a year of normal business, so I can only see some good news with only high inflation being a problem.
I just don't know what Lombard are doing they could have started buying back at 49p. I can only think they don't have anyone looking at all of their short positions all the time. They have been buying back at 60ish so why not 50ish maybe that's a new word "ish" perhaps if you put another word before ish it might describe somebody we know.
Same here I have been buying as well these were so cheap, but now I have spent up. But it lowered my average a bit, however I am still well in the Red. But having said that I can't remember the last time it was Green ha ha.
I have been trawling the latest broker views and there are some June 22 ones the average is twelve months £1.10 a share.
Hi stevebt
Not quite I kept half of Barclays and sold half, put other half on here, oh dear and oh well Card are a good company I'm happy to sit it out.
775k bought 406k sold SP down 1.7p ? What's going on here? AGM tomorrow according to calendar on here is anyone going? GL
Lombard can make a good profit at this price. They ought to reduce the short on Monday, however they seem to have so much money who knows? It's harder for us ordinary share holders, we have to worry about our pension funds whereas they don't. Oh well happy times everyone.
Sheffield has about 5 CF shops, I went in one Saturday and it was rammed with people. I would estimate that they took 4k in the day at the till. 1020 shops x 4k a shop? Time to buy some more at this cheap SP I think. GL
Hi Nathan
I totally agree with what you say about the detachment between Gold and Stocks, I have had this discussion with Tracey off Dickinson's real deal and she agreed, that "why should Gold fall when the stock market is falling?" do you know it is because the mms of the current day don't know the 70s & the 80s in fact the mms don't have a clue. If you asked a mm what size is a Fish ? The answer is they could not tell a Goldfish from a Shark.
It all depends on tomorrow for me the Dow is down 3.71% so I can see some serious selling in the morning. I have just transferred what I have left to cash. So everyone is losing money, me included so I will sleep on it, I might get up tomorrow and stop dealing, or I might get up with some optimism, who knows. However good luck everybody.
I sold out at 1.6 which carried a big loss. But I am thinking that 1.3 would be a decent buy back option, having said that I am also considering calling it a day. These are difficult times inflation approaching 10%, the War the escalation worry's these are hard decisions mate.
Hi neillmcmc11
I would not rule out buying back but seeing that the dow jones is down 3.5%, I take everything day by day. I do look at the chat opinion but at the end of the day, I make my own mind up, as I am sure you do. I take what tomski says with a pinch of snuff, but even on the odd occasion the guy who seems to be permanently on holiday does get some predictions right. I think Lawrence13 got it right to a degree, but also CWXX seems honest as well, so we will see what transpires. GL
There is one late trade at 1.49 at 5:50 all the last late trades in live were 1.47 or 1.48 but this is hard to work out.
I think it was a buy because I had watched the volume at times throughout the day. However if it was a sell like some think, I might buy my 750,000 back tomorrow. Down but not out as they say, just thought one of our message adder's is called that lol
I do in hind site, wish I had not been so stubborn and read more into your comments, that you were not a deramper in fact you were trying to offer some sound advice.
Well Lawrence all our potential losses are relevant to each individual £500 to some 8k to others and so on. It is like if I had 150k to invest at this current time I would buy a terraced house in Cleethorpes and rent it out lol.
Thanks Monkeyjack
I haven't watched all the chat today, so I don't know if anyone else decided enough is enough. They strike me as a set of crooks, first an RNS that looks encouraging and then an RNS that looks like t*t* up what a shambles of an outfit . But good luck maybe I made the wrong decision time will tell. I do hope it goes up for all you guys still in.
Hi Lawrence
I decided to sell out I sold at 2 then bought back at 1.8 and then the RNS was the final straw, just had enough lost 8k . I hope for those still invested that it goes well worse day ever. Good luck everybody.
Hi well the buys are outdoing the sells again 2-1 same as Friday. So I can see the SP heading to 2.7p by the close then a couple of price extensions then back to 2p.
not to mention one disscussion from another planet 250q3897v0272v66
