Yes @bigthings, I'm hoping that they will say more about the Deputy Chairman / Senior Independent Director appointee. From this morning's RNS it sounds like an announcement may be imminent. If we appoint an elite global heavyweight (Sir Mene Pangalos would be an incredible choice) the AIM discount will evaporate instantly. Their presence will give international asset managers the absolute confidence to back the register, squeeze out short sellers and hold out for a maximum value exist rather than settling for an early mid-tier offer. Bring it on!

A partnership would always be September onwards and this small raise puts us in a position of real strength going into a period of tremendous potential catalysts. Wonderful to see Directors buying shares. I expect us to re-rate dramatically on excellent data by July and then again on a 6000 or 6207 partnership(s) after September. I fully expect a buyout to take place in the next 18 months, in June 27, after a frenzied bidding war. I couldn't give a sh*t if the FUD tag team think this is ramping, I'm extremely happy with my investment in this wonderful company, it's revolutionary offerings, and it's inspirational leader, CC.

This is a gigantic opportunity. TAM for Rhematoid Arthritis would be between $3.0 - $4.0 billion. And if they move into Fibrosis, the TAM there is between $7.0 - $10.0 billion. Once they prove they can deliver a toxin as potent as Exatecan using the FAP linker, using the same linker for milder anti-fibrotic or anti-inflammatory drugs is a low risk, high reward certainty.

Totally agree Saint - like you, I hope a deal is coming very soon. Just pointing out that they could raise via NASDAQ like most companies do when they list. I mentioned the reverse split because I expect they'd want a minimum price of say $8 - $15 to attract US healthcare funds / pension funds. Many don't buy stocks below $5 so that price is a non-starter.

The other funding option is the NASDAQ listing, if it does go ahead. If they go with a 15:1 reverse split (say £10 a share by the time it happens) they'd raise around $100m at 20% dilution.

The large seller over the past 3 weeks must be very close to finishing now. Looks like the MMs are just holding the price down and accumulating ahead of the spike next week.

I think the ‘Unmissable Event Highlights’ banner is more of a promotional highlight on all of the key exhibitors rather than just Avacta, nevertheless a networking goldmine!
