I wonder if we'll get an update after the AGM? I presume no RNS - (as was the case at the AGM last year) - suggests that trading is in line with expectations. So no news is good news!

reassuring update. I presume the reference to a 'second interim dividend' means there is a chance of a final dividend too? The payment of this dividend is prior to the expected date of their results announcement.

I suspect this deal was negotiated before news of the VG scandal broke. Indeed they might even have exchanged contracts 30 days prior, so it was a done deal. If they had taken advantage and 'swooped' on a VG dealer, could they have done a deal - (due diligence and legals and all) - so quickly? I doubt it. I sincerely hope this works out for them, but I sold out of VTU and CFYN when the news on VG broke. I just fear the implications will affect all the dealers. It is a great shame, as both were in great shape, and do not deserve to have their businesses affected by others greed and dishonesty. If we get market updates confirming no significant loss of business, and a strong outlook statement, then I will buy back in

positive sign that they announced the acquisition separately - just three days before interims. I think we will see more good news tomorrow.

presumably the 'new' Fastnet will be able to carry forward their tax losses, so this will bring another intangible benefit to any healthcare company looking for a cash injection? Mind you, most of those will probably be loss making and so have their own losses, but still could be worth pondering

seems fairly sensible use of cash and debt facilities to me. But market doesn;t like it, so, (as usual!), I'm clearly overlooking something. Singaporean property in a bit of a bubble - or 'off-shoring' of cash reserves?

I sold out the day before ex-divi, but have now bought back in. SP dropped significantly more than the 4p final divi - (from circa 105p to 82p - high/low). On no news at all, just general market gloom and possibly some profit taking and/or stop losses. Plus AGM statement yesterday was pretty good: "noticeably better" than comparable period last year.

has bought in - 5%. a good sign of the type of institutional investors NRR will attract now they've moved to the main market. Not that Woodford was precluded from buying before of course. Think we'll see more holdings RNS in coming days

excellent news indeed - and well done to management. Bit of a leaky ship though - (as evidenced previously) - with a few large buys in just before the announcement!

very disappointing outcome. I can't even sell my holding at close to 80p. Might just have to wait for this to go through and get the cash that way and save on dealing costs. My average is 69p so I make a profit, but I bought into this thinking it had a great future and with more growth to come. Shame!

I don't think Cathal has a shareholding at Predator Oil and Gas? He's not listed as a member of the company. So surely these are buys at significantly above SP as of lunchtime today?

looks a good deal at first sight. Growing turnover and profit will make the pension deficit a smaller proportion of the enlarged business. The re-stated ambition to get to £420m turnover suggests further acquisitions to come.

the rather cursory tone of the RNS does not suggest this was orderly succession planning. The new Chair obviously has a different strategy for the company. Perhaps this relates to the possible acquisition (for which they withheld the dividend) referred to in the final results.

now have 12% of the company, spread across various funds. Their last interim report in Nov 14 showed they had a small shareholding in NXR their 'value opportunities' fund and zero in their 'small cap' fund. That has now changed, and I found no holdings RNS before Friday, suggesting their purchases happened recently. I wonder if they bought all Shroeders remaining holding? That should clear any selling overhang and might see a bit of SP momentum?

I think there is still at least one big seller - thereby creating an overhang on the shares which is keeping the price so low. At least that is the explanation I am hoping is the case!

nice rise in SP - after flat-lining at around £7.40 for some months - and just ahead of FY results next week.
