Unbelievable.. Very laudable but CC is not a charitable organisation, nor a philanthropic Corporation that exists to enrich everyone except shareholders.

I think the various efforts at support and sponsorship over the years might have waited until profitability had been achieved.

You know if JC had wanted to take the company in that direction I'd be more impressed if he had increased his shareholdings.. to a more suitable level for someone earning a top salary for 13 years.

It is amazing how many companies , particularly on AIM, spend years struggling against the odds ,dilute shareholders , then the rewards are snatched away. There are so few BOD's who take shareholders rights seriously . They are just a necessary inconvenience.

Vas. Problem is I think, is this is a "possible offer" not An offer.

But there is no excuse for JC not to reason WHY he recommended the offer. How are LTI's supposed to plan? This total silence . Re takeover panel rules? He can say yes with the backing of the BOD to the possible offer? But not say plainly why? Of course he can. He works for shareholders. Maybe someone needs to remind him .
