Indeed, Lloy being almost entirely UK based is looking detrimental! Here's what worries me.
There are millions of people in this Country who despite having skills and experience are on "minimum wage". My Mrs is one. The last three years have seen increases in NMW but no rise in the Threshold at which we pay tax. She and a large percentage of the uk economy have less to spend. Their spend is for essentials, paying ever increasing bills. It is impossible to stimulate growth under these circumstances. Now this :
"While she has previously said that those with the “broadest shoulders” will bear the burden of tax rises, the message on Tuesday was different: “If we are to build the future of Britain together, we will all have to contribute to that effort. Each of us must do our bit for the security of our country and the brightness of its future."
This and Lloy being a Landlord is of concern to me as a shareholder.
