If you overpay for your house today, which you likely will do. Prepare to have Johnny Landlord turning your adjacent homes into HMOs with the invaders for new neighbours, which is nice, further devaluing your home. Negative equity more likely. So another reason to not play the Monopoly.
When I look at an average Uk house, I see the price of what is was just a few years ago. I ignore the recent game of Monopoly that landlords and their invaders play.
