£1.5b market cap is too low for a £150m a year profit business that is still winning new business and growing.

That does offer up a buying opportunity no doubt about it.

Sure, not saying it won't turn out to be lower, I'm basing it on the first half of the year and assuming everything somewhat constant. I agree net profit will probably be closer to £35m and hence a PE of around 12/13 but was just pointing out it isn't 4.

K3MVC, your PE forecast is way off, perhaps you are using revenue? You need to use net profit to get the PE value and it's nothing like 4.54 unless you think Argo are making £100m net profit this year?!

Going by current bitcoin prices and YTD you are probably looking at something like 16 currently.

There's still a lot of negativity around this opening which has hit travel stocks further and NEX always gets bundled in with that.

If in a few weeks there is more general positivity for example no big rise in mortality as cases rise then I think confidence will return here.

It was possible to both buy shares at that price and sell shares at that price today, so it would still be just a guess...

How do you go back and time them if they are late reported trades? You don't know when they were executed do you?

Having said that you'd expect majority to be sells on a day like today...

The share price rose above 250p in June 2020, right at the heart of the pandemic, well before we knew what the outlook was and months before we even dreamed vaccines would soon be available.

When you look at the difference today and then the share price at more or less the same level... well it's hard to come to any other conclusion than this is well undervalued and will surely start moving back up again soon.

Why all the suspicious all of a sudden? This hit 295p in May also and wasn't far off that at one point in June.

Most likely this is bottom of the trading range and will push back up the rest of the week...

It's not Moose, it's just folk either scare mongering or trying to find a reason for the fall - there isn't always an obvious reason.

Expecting this to bounce off 295p today.

Having been up to now largely focused on the small cap indices I am starting to wonder if my best bet is to move a larger amount of money into NEX and just sit and wait however long it takes to hit £4 as you can bet your bottom dollar at some point (even if a market crash happened beforehand) it will reach that price again.

I think all of a sudden in the next few months the share price will quietly start moving through the gears just like it did from September to February...

One thing I am pretty sure of is if BTC goes on a genuine rally again in 2021/2022 once again the Argo share price will get ahead of itself and rise faster than bitcoin.

Fair enough K3VMC, personally I think it's relevant as it effects Argo's future revenues (even if only a small degree) but each to their own!

Especially when, for example, Marathon expects to be mining 55-60 BTC a day, or around 1700 BTC a month - quite a decent percentage of all coins mined across the network...
