Hi Everyone, Posted by "Tarkers17" on the iii board. Many thanks to him. All the best. HTL "Afternoon all, Just an observation based on a comment from bobsson a week or so back regarding the AM's route back to the UK via the Suez being restricted due to its height. bobsson mentioned that the AM would need the top section of the flare stack at the rear of the vessel, removed for transit through the Suez and would then need re-installing when its reaches Lancaster. My observation is that on the picture of the AM in situ on the Summary page of the AGM report, it clearly shows a "top section" of the flare stack in place that, as I gaze from my office window toward the vessel, is definitely not currently there. This would suggest that sensibly, the AM's route to lancaster would be via the Suez following the Jumbo Kinetic. The only other observation for today is that the scaffold surround the helipad supports is being removed yesterday and today. It (the scaffold) should be gone by the weekend. A question from those in the know, does any of you know what "greenwater protection" is for? The phrase is taken from the Hurricane Energy website which shows a graphic of the AM and indicates the work that will be done during its refit. The Greenwater Protection appears to streamline the vessel somewhat and may make it marginally more effective at its cruising speed or may make it easier to weathervane into inclement weather, both complete guesses, but I cant see an obvious reason to it otherwise. It may just offer protection to the occupants from spray, but it seems excessive given that generally ships like this operate in offshore locations and protection from spray for a sailor or offshore oilman is probably the least of their worries. Hi Everyone, Posted by "lameduck" on the iii board. Many thanks to him. All the best. HTL "JUMBO KINETIC arrived at Port SUEZ SOUTH ANCH at 2018-06-03 02:21 Local Time (2018-06-03 00:21 UTC) Time of Arrival/Departure is the time the Vessel approaches the entrance/exit of the Port respectively. " "
Hi Everyone, The following article certainly seems to put forward a very healthy near to mid-term future for Brent oil. I am sure that some of our technically capable posters can put some meat on the bones as to the implications of what is about to occur. If I am reading this correctly, it certainly wont do HUR much harm. It should in fact make our assets more valuable, imo. "While there has been breathless attention paid to prompt Brent prices climbing to $80 a barrel for the first time since 2014, what has received less attention is that the entire Brent forward curve is now trading above $60, including contracts for delivery as far out as December 2024. " That paragraph in it's self says that any oil that HUR produces up to that date alone, will be very profitable. All the best. Hi IJWT, I would very much like to know what Dr T's thoughts and feelings are, regarding the ever encroaching pressure of renewables, and it's effect on the oil market medium/long-term. Many thanks. All the best. HTL
Hi Everyone, Posted by "Tarkers17" on the iii board. Huge thank you to him. All the best. HTL "Morning all, Jumbo Kinetic along with our bright yellow bouy, is currently being maneuvered by tugs to leave Dubai Dry Docks World, looks like its first port of call is Mumbai. GLA Tarkers"
Hi aduk, "Didn't nobody tel u how to spell 'buoy' rightly?" Sorry, all my fault. Generally my spelling is one of my stronger points. Unfortunately, "buoy" is not a word I think I have ever used in my life. However, suitably chastised and will spend the next hour standing in the corner with my face to the wall, lol. All the best. HTL
Hi SIPP, Firstly, many thanks for your sterling, above and beyond the call of duty, efforts on our behalf. From the quality of your photographs and your description of how they were taken, you obviously enjoy imaging. I worked for "Ilford" for over seventeen years, so I appreciate where you are coming from. All the best. HTL
Hi Everyone, Further update from "Tarkers17" on the iii board. Many thanks to him. All the best. HTL "Update Lift is currently in progress. I have to say its quite a sight to see the Bouy suspended about 50m high. It is massive, probably around 35-40m high and around 20-25m diameter (I'm estimating from around 0.5km away). Tarkers"

Hi Everyone, Posted by "Tarkers17" on the iii board. Many thanks to him. All the best. HTL Just as an update to all, most of this week they have been installing what looks like a lifting brace across the top of the Bouy. The taupaulin that was covering the derrick structure at the rear of the vessel has been removed, it looks like its received a fresh coat of paint too, though the scaffold remains around its whole height. All lifting operations are on hold today as we have a fairly large dust/sand storm blowing through so tower cranes have been feathered and are inoperative. Tarkers" "
Hi tom, Many thanks for that. Unfortunately the senility is starting to catch up, lol. All the best. HTL
Hi Everyone, I am certainly happy to see our recent rise, however it is from a very low and undervalued price. I would find it difficult to understand anyone getting excited at this price, baring in mind that the IPO on this was 43p, Last September,(from memory) this hit 67p, and my first purchase over four years ago was at 42p. The true value here has a long way to go yet, imo. When I see that happening, then I will get very excited. However, not knocking the current rise. Very welcome. All the best. HTL
Hi Everyone, Posted by "Tarkers17" on the ii board. Many thanks to him. All the best. HTL "Hi Bobsson, I'll keep my eye out for it. Right now (10.40am UAE time) I'm still seeing welding flashes on the Bouy which is slowly being stripped of the scaffold at higher levels, the scaffold now only reaches halfway up the main body on the outside, though there is a yellow access platform that goes right to the top, so I imagine there's still works going on inside the structure. On the main vessel, the scaffold is slowly being stripped off certain navigation elements on the main bridge, though the recently replaced helipad still has scaffold around its support legs and superstructure. There is also still fairly substantial scaffold around the derrick at the stern of the ship. The whole of the ship is being serviced by two tower cranes (one at the front, one at the rear) and bouy has its own separate crane, all of which are fairly active day to day, although the massive 2000tn shear leg floating crane is serving both, its been dormant for the last couple of days. If I get chance I'll drive down there over the next day or two and have a closer look at the progress on the bouy, see if its being prepped for a lift. Tarkers "
Hi Mike, "An Analysis for the Intelligent Investor by Alistair Blair." That's has just scared me off right away, lol. Have a good weekend. All the best. HTL
Hi Ricfle, "Some AIM CEO's are nothing more then highly payed crooks and should be taken out and shot for deliberately pumping up their companies and fooling PI's out of their hard earned money, IMHO." I absolutely agree with you. Too many wide-brim hats, spurs and lariats around this market these days. What annoys me more than anything is, what are the FCA doing about it?. SFA, I think is the answer. All the best. HTL
Hi reverandy, I have just noticed that I did not include a year date with my entry. Apologies, that of course should be 2018. I would appreciate if you could include that for me. All the best. HTL
Hi IJWT, Many thanks for your reply. Much appreciated. All the best. HTL
Hi IJWT, "Think RB is pee'd off off because a big bid today solves his ownership problem but incremental increases to EPS2 alwayshave to be sold into." I am probably being totally nave here and I am very happy to be educated, however. Was it not RB, shortly after his initial investment here, that suggested HUR was a potential 17Billion company? If he has to sell into rises, by definition holding the sp down, how then does he expect the company ever too achieve that kind of value? Is he hoping that some predator will come along with a 8 per share offer, when the sp is in the 30p to 40p range? Would be very nice, but I can't see it happening, lol. All the best. HTL
Hi Everyone, Post from tarkers17 on the ii board. All the best. HTL "!Things seem to be moving along incredibly well on the Aoka Mizu. I said I would let you know of significant movements, yesterday and today they have almost completely rebuilt the helipad on the front superstructure and the bouy has been uncovered from its tarpaulin and has been worked on for the last week. Will let you know anything further. Tarkers"
Hi Boyzee, "Looks that way to me Mike. It.s clearer now when there.s an iceberg buyer/seller around cos of Mifiid coding. Others may add to this. Algo code worth looking for" Many thanks for that. I must admit, I was having the same thoughts as Mike. For those who are unsure what a "iceberg" order is, as was I, the following description is fairly comprehensive. All the best.
