Ditto. Bought 2 lots this morning totalling 620,0000. But still not showing up on lse board. So don't be fooled there are plenty of buyers out there
Hi All, I don't post much because I am still learning
But I don't understand how the price can effectively not change despite far more buyers than sellers, and positive news.
What is the mechanism that drives the price ?
Hi Eddie, I have been wondering exxtky this point, but also don't have the expertise . I always assumed miners did not use virtual machines, because of both energy and speed constraints which would make current setups not viable.
This I have been assuming is where QBT is heading
QBT (Research) + D-Wave (Platform) + ?? ( Hardware)
Is that your missing 1/3rd ...
@Hitou
Is that possible? At this point I would suggest 50% of the likely outcome would be a good result, and we could close this chapter. A couple of mill invested now woukd surely be better than 4 or 5 in 12 months time
Everyone :
QBT was my first venture into investing having recently retired. Naively I guess I believed what I was reading on this BB and bought into the story, and the dips, and probably now hold more stock than most of you.
But I have been amazed at how many of the postings are so abusive and dishonest, and how little attempt there is to collaborate and leverage our collective skills and knowledge.
Consequently I too shall be withdrawing from this bb and try to find a forum, where the comment is honest and impartial.
Hi Schaff
You didn't actually answer my question.
If you reduced your holding by nearly 70% because you believed the price was being ramped, then I assume now it has falen back, you will be increasing your holding by a greater amount as you have made a profit on the sale and potential buy back price, and I assume you still believe all those good things you previously said.
Am I correct ?
Hi Schaff, the news that you had reduced your holdings by nearly 70%, came as a shock. Your constant positivity was one reason why I am now holding nearly £60k of QBT. I dont understand why you would sell if you really believed everything you have been posting about QBT ?
Mike
I think its worth waiting for the road map. So I have just bought another £5k. Fingers crossed ..
You make a sound case, but having come into this late, and whilst the buys and sells are similar, I am averaging down and just bought another £5k .
@Trioodman. No its not just you I don't get it either, unless it is a deliberate ploy as part of a shorting strategy.
Either way I think the simplest and possibly most effective answer is to do the sane as you would on Google to rebuild rep. Which is ignore the negative posts, and repeat post all the positive and well constructed arguments
Entering into a dialogue can quickly end up helping the shorter, or negative poster, especially for those investors who are easily put off by discord.
I would suggest not repeating anything negative, even if you are trying to counter an argument.
All the best
Completely agree.
Hi Ltd, of course you are right when you say "The problem here is that investors have nothing concrete to buy into "
Which is some thing that does urgently need to be addressed .
However that does not takeaway from the fact, that we are on the cusp of so many potential revolutionary developments in biosciences, quantum physics and computing, plus of course AI.
And who is to say that FG ,who has an excellent background in these area , with longstanding relationships with some of the worlds best academics, is not the man to capitalise on some of these opportunities.
Personaly I am happy to stake now nearly £50k at just over an average cost of 2p, on the belief that he can do this.
But of course I fully accept your thoughts are at this stage just as valid as mine. We shall have to see who ends up closer to the eventual outcome :-)
@figtreeharry . Thank goodness for your post, as I think there has been a lot of ambiguity re the direction QBT uk is going in.
Hence this recurring miss-understanding that QBT is a crypto/mining stock, which I think is worrying potential or current investors and draging the price down.
FG has repeatedly emphasised the focus on monetising advances in advanced computing and mathematics some of whose aplications would be the creation of faster, more efficient and less resource intensive systems powering blockchains, such as Proof of Transaction. Which would indeed make some crypto currencies based on these developments more attractive to investors.
But crucially would have far wider aplications than simply mining coins.
Just bought £1k (60+)
Hi Schaff,
Agreed. I am pursuing a strategy of buying to both bring my average down ( still above 2p), and secondly to try to steady the ship. It is important for those who understandably may wavier that they know that substantial holders are staying invested, and not losing their nerve.
As you say if no one sells, the price will gradually improve.

Thanks Magnum, that's helpful. I have nearly £40k invested here , so its helpful to get others opinion
Agreed placed order for £16k , but hasn't been filled yet, so market must be tightening up
Does anyone have any thoughts on what might be a fair guess at a support price if the court case was
