Thoughts on the fundraising19 Nov 2021 15:53
On this board I have heard many posters complain about the share price and its volatility.
Every piece of good news is met by a drop in price. So, how do you get the share price to rise on this share? My view is that the share price will rise when we can extend the MRE and, then again, when we start to get gold out of the ground.
Creating extra resources to pay for an increase in the rate of drilling and digging will bring forward these events and push up the share price sooner.
I have heard people argue that the volatility is caused by the high proportion of individual investors. They also state that, if we can encourage more institutions into the shares, it will help to make it more stable.
So a method of getting lots of money, quickly, and which favours the institutions, makes sense. It helps to stabilise the share AND bring forward the date the share price starts to rise.
I understand it feels like a betrayal to some, but, perhaps this is actually the best way of achieving what we all want and sooner?
