Thanks for the update Karina1.
Wlecome to all new visitors to this board from one of the many long term holders. GLA
http://www.t-g-i.com/holding.php I'm almost feeling enthused - time to do some digging to see what can be found.
I'm also having a bad day, but refuse to give up on this one for some reason. Perhaps it is the lack of hype when there clearly is something going on due to the ability to raise cash way above market price and to attract individuals that normally would not be seen dead on AIM. Sustained Hype and PR can raise money on aim from faceless individuals that the directors are unlikely to ever meet, but the directors of CRV either have a great business plan or very thick skin as they are raising money from very HNW individuals after face to face meetings via placings.
Lets hope this is the start of a new era where we realise the potential we all believe can be achieved
And without spending any of the cash we are sitting on
Thanks for the update Karina. Sorry I did not make but work wrecked my plans. I hope it is the start of Marks new approach to openess and promotion of what they are trying to achieve.
Too right
Unless they want millions of losses to off set against tax, this is clearly a no brainer. To all LTHs, where do you think/hope this will go?
Craven House Capital (AIM: CRV) announces that it has raised approximately £3.34 million in cash (before expenses), through a placing (the "Placing") of 266,828,899 new ordinary shares of 0.1p each in the Company ("Placing Shares") at a price of 1.25p per Placing Share ("Placing Price").
I can see it Steve, no changes to the tear sheet or anything else that I can see.
It ha all the trade marks of a mates rates buy in my opinion. There is no way investors putting in $5million at a discount will want the lid kept on this. GLA Long term holders.
Net sales of 465,000 shares and we haven't dropped 15% - not what we are used to. GLA I do think we as patient LTHs are very close to getting our rewards.
Karina and Tully - Agree with you both. Just checked back and despite the company previously extending its accounting period it was in excess of 5 years ago, therefore they would be able to move the goal posts. The year end is very important for Desmond and their bonus. I assume that they will extend the current year to 18 months, but only if they think they can get the deals done in that time frame. The next few days could be interesting.
Not that it makes much difference (apart from the bonus for Desmond) but perhaps trying to get a deal done before the year end?
Is it the weather or is the prospect of something happening with CRV giving me a good feeling about this week? GLA
Not posted for ages but the flurry of activity brought me out of hibernation. Not my sell - still holding tight
That makes complete sense, it also confirms what I thought originally that they hace £50m on the table. Thanks Karina GLA
