The latest Investing Matters Podcast with Jean Roche, Co-Manager of Schroder UK Mid Cap Investment Trust has just been released. Listen here.
Nothing wrong with due diligence but for crying out loud, I wish extrader would make his f@#king mind up if he is investing in SYME or not
Cyprus, not ripping anyone's opinions, just asking them to back it up.
If I had an opinion, for instance, that you was a c0ck and wrote that on here, wouldn't you want to ask me why I wrote it?
That was in reference to the OP, that you backed up with a 1p EPS to justify the 50p share
I've shown you how much income is needed to get to 1p EPS and you can't or won't show me different
Cyprus, just replying back to mick's posts, as he keeps replying but avoiding the question.
Sorry if you too believe him and the 50p by March posts
Correct as we can only go on what is in the RNS and UAE and UK are highly unlikely before March next year, the date the OP gave for a 50p SP
mick have you had a recent head trauma or something? I agreed with you that PE of 50 was possible, where have I mentioned a PE of 1
I'd still like to know how you got your estimated EPS of 1p
Nice one WG, seen your calcs before and totally feasible. Slight difference between those and the "50p by March next year" chants
Just a wording apology to the guy that spotted it.
Nothing changes from the figures I have given you regarding the net income needed to back up your claims of 1p EPS and 50p SP
I notice you haven't tried to back those claims up with any figures of your own yet
Hi Rhydian, yes apologies, the revenue I have mentioned means the funding, giving the net income I have stated
Haha, not with some of your posts mick no.
I'm no deramper but these figures don't lie. I reckon a 3-5p SP by next year, I could be way off the mark but as the OP said 50p by March I wanted to know how he got to this figure.
Has you say a PE of 50 could be achieved and I agree with that, but to get to a SP of 50p and EPS of 1, the revenue would have to be roughly £32 billion. By March!!!!????
FFS yes exactly mick a EPS of 1p which is just ridiculous.
That would mean a 32 billion pence net income, which is 320 million pounds
As SYME charges a 2% fee and maybe 50% is net income (1%) that would mean a 32 billion pound revenue
Your posts are just word soup???
You have assumed a PE of 50 earlier but forget about that for now, just give an answer to this. With 32 billion shares and a EPS of 1p, can you or can you not calculate the Net Income?
In fact a simpler question. What net income gives a 1p EPS?
Ok then mick, let's start from the beginning. What sort of revenue is required to give earnings per share of 1p?
Wolf, I didn't state he was connected globally. But with AZ and his team, Italy, Middle East and UK will do for now, with US in the pipeline
Wolf, my personal calculations are allowing for 50% net income. I would be surprised if it is hugely higher than that as SYME would firstly be charging a fee to the companies for the integrity and inventory checks. Once approved there would obviously be admin costs but not like many businesses that incur high plant & equipment, inventory, depreciation and many other factors that eat into profits.
Hopefully marketing wouldn't be too high either as AZ seems well connected and once the model is proven, demand could be huge anyway
adam, could you explain what revenue SYME would need for a SP of 50p by next year
Well said Boberto. I even got called a deramper for calculating the SP at 12p end of 2021. Best part was, I wasn't even being serious. I think it will be around the 3-5p level but somebody argued that it will be £1 as the PE could be up to 80. When I calculated that PE would give a SP of around 12p on the revenues that we know of, the deramping names started because I wasn't agreeing to the £1 prophecy. Unreal???
Iknownuffin, great posts and as Mark Twain said Never argue with an idiot. They'll drag you down to their level and beat you with experience." I'd been reading this board for a while before joining, so knew who to filter as I'd rather read researched and thoughful posts rather than extreme ramping and derramping.
The key word in that being 'apparently'. You can get away with any whopper in the world if you put that in the sentence
