Anyone think these might sprout up in the spring,with the rise in gol price

Hello all, was looking to buy some of these.When I put PLZL code in,with both of the brokers I use it comes up as not recognised.I had a look on Polyus web site and it says it does trade on London stock exchange, as well as Russian.Any advice would be appreciated. Andrew

Made 100 % profit on these :0) so it can be done. Took my original amount out, left the profit in,Bugger ! :0(

"Ennstone hopes to get back on track with Donington F1 An aggregates company that recently announced it was cutting its workforce is hoping the redevelopment of Donington Park race circuit will give it a welcome boost. Last month, Ennstone revealed plans to shed about 170 jobs before the end of the year. Donington Park is awaiting planning permission for a £100m revamp in time for the 2010 F1 British Grand Prix. If permission is granted in late January by North West Leicestershire District Council, work on the £100m project will start on a new pit lane and paddock area and a new half-mile section of track. The nine-month construction programme will create work for up to 300 people. Ennstone's UK base at Breedon-on-the-Hill quarry is a short distance from the circuit. It produces aggregates, asphalt and concrete products - materials that would be required in the Donington revamp. Last week, Donington Park hosted an open day to give local businesses an insight into its facilities. Among those attending was Gerard McDermott, regional manager for Ennstone, who said: "As a neighbouring business, we have a very good relationship with Donington Park. My situation is same as yours,except broker is Equiniti.I sent request to them about a fortnight ago,after they said same as LLoyds, for share certificate,with a cheque for transfer fee.Phoned them a week ago, they had not done anything, so asked them to try and do it as soon as pos.Phoned again today, still not done.So not very happy. Have phoned registrars to find out what will happen to anyone who does not send certificate and form in by 23/1.They say will still get the certificate for the new company, but will take a lot longer as anyone who did not get back with form will be classed as a dissenter.

They are saying in RNS Number : 5900L "YRMN has confirmed to the board of ADSL that it expects to despatch stock certificates in respect of New YRMN Shares to ADSL Shareholders who had validly accepted the Offer by 1.00 p.m. on 12 January 2009 within 15 business days. Shareholders submitting valid acceptances after that date will receive their stock certificates on a rolling weekly basis thereafter. "

Not sure what the meaning of it all is. Think the gist is that "Offer will be extended for a further 14 days, until 1.00 p.m. (London time) on Friday 23 January 2009" Will have to sit down some time and try and go through it. Would be interested in an interpretation from others.

It seems the government plans to bring forward £10bn of spending on public works,so ought to push up the demand for building materials,aggregates etc.Hope so anyway.

Alan I sent a note to the registrars for clarification. Had this reply. Dear Sir I can only advise that CREST holders must remat their stock then send the certificate back with the form of acceptance.

Hello all, has there been bad news on these, seem to be going down pretty quick.Any views on them long term.They are my biggest loss maker at moment.

Looking to put a couple of hundred pounds into these on Monday morning,early.Have set max limit at 0.27p. At moment broker has bid price as 0.27p and offer at 0.4p so quite a spread. Wonder what the chances are of getting them at 0.29p or less ? early. Say early as they seem to drop back in day .Hoping they will stay high though,due to news of the asset sale.
