Member Info for Handygandhi

I have topped up my investment in Vietnam with VPF. I strongly recommend these at today's price of 0.76$, but always DYOR!

I've had shares in this outfit for a couple of months now. I am down a few cents at the moment, but I bought for long time recovery, as Vietnam is the fastest growing economy (per capita) in Asia. They were also strongly recommended by The UK Daily Telegraph's "Questor". A long time cert IMHO!

I think the softening of the SP is due to profit taking after the recent "BullRun". Interim results due Tuesday, 1st.Dec. Watch this space!!

I noticed that the Directors were buying these, so I did some research and followed suit. Barchart.com rates them as a 67% long term buy. Their website makes interesting reading, especially with obesity currently being a health problem. DYOR & GL!

LSE is showing a sell of 44,193 @ 7.10p., but no change in SP.

Been sitting on 100,000 @ 1.45p for about a year now. Some good news must be due soon.

Has anyone any idea when the next results will be announced?

I can't quite remember all the details, but it was a placing at 60p. as the result of of a reverse take-over into a shell I can't remember the name of. I do remember reading that the directors and staff hold a big slice of the equity. Any weakness towards the 60p. mark and I shall be having a dabble. I'm sure that if you did some research you will be able to fill in the gaps. Good luck!

The clue certainly lies in the RNS posted on 5Nov. I'm in these from the bad old 40p. days, but more than happy to wait for recovery. Will be looking to top up if SP drops to 80p. Patience is the word!!

Is there a timetable for news releases?

With Vietnam being the fastest growing economy in South East Asia, I see this as a very good long term investment. This fund has only been up and running for about a year now, but look as though they are heading in the right direction. Their website makes very impressive reading . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . any comments?
