Jeffrey,
I have no idea of your position as goes average price of your holdings but you'd be wise to wait until the real cuts kick in and see how rapidly the oil market changes,
I'm pretty certain we'll be back way over the $80 a barrel when it does and things will appear less worrying for you.
It'll come good.
I couldn't agree more W.P but today I did look and at a price of £4-67 I bought back the 2000 I'd sold for £4-86 on the 30th
Good business in my book and with the divi also to come on the 19th
Happy days!
More fuel will be getting used domestically, now winters finally reared its head,
I know I'm going to be putting an extra £20 quid a week on top of my normal amount, to allow for defrosting the car early doors after a hard frost.
@Max
It's strange but I was thinking of you when I received news that my once suspended DX shares I've had from 11p have just been taken at an agreed 48.5 pence per share,
Shame I only bought 25,000
Only my 2nd decent takeover since Greene King but you never know with BP right now, they could be swallowed up if they don't get back to their core business.
I'll have a look at Empire and hope it doesn't strike back ;0)
I was half out last time it was £5-50 and bought them back at a much better price
There's a decision to be made for me now, let 5000 go at a lower price and get my trading capital back to buy another share or wait it out.
As there's no rush, I'll be doing the latter and hoping something comes of it early 2024
With all the rumours regarding a takeover, maybe they were keeping their powder dry as there would have been no need to find anybody for the job,
Now they're actively looking for one, might be the signal that one isn't happening at this moment on time?
Here we go again, these crazy falls for no apparent reason but it's all in the game and they'll be back with all the cheap stock being snapped up.
Luckily my Halma are absolutely flying and keeping my attention away from this short term mayhem
