Calder, genuine question- why did you buy today at ~7p rather than at 5p on primary bid when the placing comes?

Hardly likely to calm shareholders though, what it does is encourage selling as current holders now know for a fact they can sell at 5his price and buy back way more at 5p in the placing.

All the spin outs are a poisoned chalice, all they seem do is distract or in the case of POLB, contribute to decimating the share price of ORPH.

I just want to see the company sold and the spin outs either included in that or put in a holding/another company, I have no desire to see them happen before the sale of Open Orphan

A few of you sounding panicked here? This is undeniably a good RNS, at least I can call things honestly both ways and I did see a takeover for the main market listing to be the most attractive option, no brainer for all concerned and no doubt align knew about this when they took their lump of shares recently.

Wow, I did mention in the past that they may well now be worth more as a cash shell for the main market than they are as a crappy little vegan food company and the RNS has finally confirmed that they have been approached by multiple companies for that reason.

Finally a justification for buying some big dish shares!

To be fair, if they spelled out what the fundraise would be for then that would imply their current cash position would not be enough to cover it. They should have just said nothing at all

No Cikita, the most important thing in black and white is they confirm they ARE in discussions for another fundraise. I can't think of a single company that said that and then didn't go on to exercise the raise.

Exactly my point hereshoping, it's utter utter madness, if you know price will be below whatever the share price will be, then it's just a massive sign saying "sell out and short and literally whatever price it falls to, you can still buy them back cheaper.

What an utterly needless RNS?! What on earth are they trying to achieve with that expect to spoil the share price down even more! Effectively saying sell now and you can buy back cheaper in the raise which will be below the current price.

Wait why would 0.4 be the bottom? Wasn't the raise at 0.3? Surely it will drop to at least there, it's already sitting at 0.38 with no sign of any buying pressure coming in. Could easily fall well below placing price too; maybe 0.25 a more realistic bottom

Sold out of this a while ago at about ~30, took a small loss (only had small position) on the chin.

Thought today's RNS was quite good news really, undeniable that Colin was utterly useless and you should be thankful he DID step down/get pushed as so many other CEOs just ride a paycheque to 0.0.

Timber, it's more sinister than that, they are not fickle holders as the implies they hold at all. The sole purpose is to disrupt ACTUAL holders, though to what end who knows. It's genuinely pathetic but its rife across any popular share and indeed most unpopular shares. Getting holders to either sell or leave the bulletin board due to frustration is the aim, so leaving because of them is admitting defeat.

An alternative tactic is to find which shares they ARE holders of and go and post drivel on those boards in retaliation, but then it's a question of whether you can be bothered to.
