Markets may get a little lift come Wednesdays Fed update. I should also think that we'll get an Xmas gift from Trump who's been very quiet these past few days for whatever reason.

Markets should hopefully get a lift come Wed if Fed play ball.

Personally I think the online fashion buying is falling out of fashion. I feel shoppers want to return to the high street and the profit warning from Asos is a good thing for M&S. They JUST have to monopolize on this now and get customers on side again by using good materials and good fashion at a good price JUST like in the past.

I doubt that anyone with a negative outlook on sp on this forum would have any sway on the sp. They may however get the reaction they want from other posters.

Anyway forget all the brokers nonsense, the Feds beige book is hinting that inflation is looming. It stated that US companies will have to pass on the increased costs they're experiencing from the tariffs due to the US/Chinese trade war. Good for gold as it's a hedge as we all know.

It's also on the Reuters page so it is correct, don't know why they downgraded? RBS also downgraded to 245p from 255p. Why I wonder when gold is progressing nicely at this point?

The article states they may tap a partner or buy only the operating rights for the assets.
