Well according to the Financial Times we have 935m shares in free float of the 1.15b so I don't think institutional investing matters a jot to our SP fluctuations. COVID caused the drop from 20's.

All I knew that it was due in Q1 after the world bank allowed a delay and likely allowed another short delay due to COVID. One would presume it will be due in Q2 to meet the timeframe for phase 1 to be completed mid-2021 so anytime soon as the clock is ticking.
The figure set aside for storage by the world bank is expected to be $661m and the completion date is Dec 2021 for both phases.
Would love for Bushveld energy get the project management contract even if they cannot deliver every battery as they will get income streams for this as MN has alluded to.

What do you think of this chaps comments that LNG and Nuclear is the way forward for SA. Obviously a retired Eskom employee and may need to see the light of VRFB's.

Squirty you are correct another Institutional investor would undoubtedly help the SP upwards but it will also reduce the free float and keep rises sustained.

Also Drifter we are at 13p mainly down to COVID and not down to Moodys downgrade and SA in my opinion. We would no doubt be sitting closer to the 20p region if the world economy didn't have such a crisis or lockdowns reducing production.

Surely your last comment about FM not doing it anymore is a mistake. He created this business, acquired Vametco and Vanchem with his foresight and still working on completing an electrolyte plant with vertical integration on its way.. SA is a difficult/slow place for business no doubt but I am surprised you question FM.

FairPlay Drifter with the calculations and we could add some value shown below hence 20p is still undervalued in my eyes.
Obviously V price will swing over the years and production will undoubtedly increase if vanchem refurbishment plan is due in H2.

Don't forget to add Lemur, 8.71% invinity, 10% Afritin approx and 24.9% ownership of Cellcube, Mokopane with its licence and Brits. I think the two plants alone will be worth the current SP given market cap alone.

I didn't invest to at 40p's to think my investment is worth 20p based on fundamentals.

Had a few drinks last night but to explain buy-out would be difficult as mainly retail investors here and I am sure if FM advised no to, most would follow his advice when voting. Especially if we are getting low-balled and he felt undervalued.
Doubt any company would offer a billion now due to SP discrepancy and it would be in their interest to build a stake at these prices if allowed. Building stake generally boosts the SP and we know that is not happening.
It only takes one whole Eskom BESS contract worth $430m this year to value this close to a billion IMO. Although even a portion of that will drive the SP above 50p as vertical integration is fully complete just to begin with. exciting times

Starting to think these vermin are against renewables and probably Pro-coal or Oiler’s, or Worryingly obsessed with certain long term holders.
Call me cynical but you don’t waste your time on Bmn Setting up new account everyday, now you have probably hit all shorters targets.
Buyout is bottom of my list as it would be difficult.

I think many of us have a lot more spare time that we keep checking our share BB's. Add to that less disposable income & that we might need to rely on the cash stuck in shares at some point.
