Lionel, I think one RNS did say the costs of the energy will be similar to Eskom for BMN. The main aim is to show energy security away from Eskom and workability.
Most large companies would happily pay the equivalent to Eskom without blackouts and reduce CO2 production. I assume after 10 years the batteries start making a profit if the main loans and debt are paid off. An equivalent lithium battery would be finished at this stage etc
I remember the Microsoft saying they don't mind making a loss on renewables and energy storage projects.
Scalability and multiple mandates will drive profits long term.
