BMN and a few have been heavy mistakes as somebody relatively new to the stock market (2018). I’ve got 17 years to put index funds into my sipp. So I hopefully have time put money away for the family after these losses. Hopefully Bmn turn it around still have same number of shares since COVID drop so haven’t sold a bean, but unlikely to add any.
Don’t gamble on AIM unless you can afford to lose, as even fund managers and finance houses lose millions.
SPR Will have a financing reputation to hold. If this did go tits up, not only will BMN and my major investment be in the creek but so will SPR in more ways than one as Lindon mentioned.
Clue was in his name Soup. Doubt he’ll last another 20 percent rise
Thanks Faramog for all the info. After the ups and downs just being realistic that in 5-7 years we could be no more but it could be very different also. Have my largest holding in this but lucky to be able to hold forever if needed and i know that could multi-bag on my high average.
Faramog, I appreciate your usual presentation summaries if you’ve dialled in.
Never get a chance while working .
Thanks for the snippets folks CC showing the board level of incompetence previously.
Hopefully smaller to raise cash and once profitable start buying shares and equity back.
Fortune looked out of depth once Vanchem came into play with all the other fingers in pies. Seems lack of risk management and probably thought everything was going to stay rosy for V prices on the back of a cyclical spike. CC looks like someone with clarity.
As Buffett put it - It's only when the tide goes out that you learn who has been swimming naked.
Good luck Paul with the treatment and keep battling as you always have.
There are more important things in life than wasting energy on the trolls. I’ve taken a back step from BB’s as it’s healthier avoiding the noise and emotion when investing.
I still enjoy reading the odd measured posts from Loudspeaker, Squirtyflower et al.
Went in heavy on BMN 5 years ago and lessons were learnt in life about risk at least.
Gone in heavy on premium bonds instead now and will continue watching this share as it recovers under CC’s stewardship. May take years to reach the levels many of us desire so patience is key.
All those Range Rovers outside schools I see with their exhausts at the eye level of young kids.
Give me a large EV in built up areas any day. Especially if those rich enough can use green energy.
Direct pollution straight into the lungs from a metre away from the exhaust is far worse than that produced elsewhere if we think in common sense terms.
