In Hindsight everyone is naive because nobody can predict the future. There are many shares in a book called 100-baggers that statistically required holding for greater than a decade and involved holding during many lows. You just have to have a mentality that does not follow the herd/fear.
In investing a lot of luck plays a role and this is no different to any other share. Higher highs could happen if V prices hit >$100Kg/FeV with doubled production or even if VRFB's become the normal for grid storage.
Nobody predicted the peak of 2018 and nobody can predict pandemics, wars or government policy. Times may change for the better on the flip of a coin to re-rate any share.
Even in pharma a dog of a share can make many people rich out of the blue while the SP is languishing. The only winners are the ones who had the conviction while the warriors of pessism were out in full force. The best investors will lose money but you only need a few winners to make a difference in life.

Let us discuss CASP in more detail as the lows in many shares can happen at different periods in history.
We can argue posters like Pdub, loudspeaker and Faramog bought in BMN at lows of 1-1.5p and are 300-500% up and are very successful investors.
I can also argue that if I had bought CASP at a similar time to the heyday of 40p's in BMN I will be sitting on similar paper losses from 2018 to 2022 from 11-12p down to 3.65p today ( I will be kind and not mention 13p multiple peaks as i want to be fair).
I would consider buying CASP but I am also worried it might retest 1.5p and that would be an erosion of 90% from those highs. I Also think the CASP management need to pull their finger out...

Analysts get bear and bull markets correct 47 percent of the time. Basically you have a better chance flipping a coin predicting markets.
This is why you invest in a good company and ride it out.
The good ones come through in the end and our Warren has never bought shares on what the markets are doing or predicting them.

More importantly Q2 for largo had average European prices at $11.08lb/v205 which will be extremely profitable for BMN. If anything US should be the same if not higher during that quarter.

You can post similar negativity on the majority of shares during this current climate. Not many people are winning on the stock market even those haters.
Whoever has a multi-year timeline has time on their side while those looking at needing money soon will not, which is part of the game.
Tesla was nearly finished and in a worse position than BMN at one point but created many millionaires who held for years.

I’d like to think NAV is one reason we didn’t have above 7p before other things.

Try going on the charts of many similar small cap miners and see what is going on across the board.
I’m no happy clapper as my PF is red like pretty much many small cap investors.

I think the current market and sentiment has more to do with the fall than the actual business.
Those lucky enough to buy around here May encounter a decent profit if the next update is very positive.

Be using V suppliers all over the world not just BMN. Cellcube will be the competitors for VRFB’s and BMN’s main network for supplying electrolyte locally and beyond.
Regardless we need both companies to take off the VRFB revolution.
Closer to home 5 competitors for 3 positions for long duration 40MW projects by UKGOV. If Invinity can win phase 2 funding with pivot power then this could be very good news for the industry.

I'm also of the opinion BE need to concentrate on private businesses and mines as there is a lot of business to be had with Eskom failing to provide stability. You can see BESS and solar being the future of Africa.
The biggest news BMN have had is NERSA loosening the strings of 100MW of power generation. This is something they need to pounce on with lithium prices rocketing.

I Think this split is very important as a lot of stress from investors/trolls is from BE not delivering projects or value. By being a separate entity and having a listed value this can only be positive in many ways. It also provides a simplicity to investing in BMN for funds and PI's which suits me just fine.
FM does not have to spend most of his time arranging complex financial deals or legal disputes with Duferco/ATM/Orion/Invinity/Mustang/Cellcube anymore. You would think the major deals have now been completed in the last 5 years and now they can concentrate on producing a well oiled low cost machine with less distractions and less funding requirements.
