Avacta is doing great things where affirmers will eventually give instant results in a split second. Novacyt still making tons of sales currently with old tech, Omega has miniscule sales, and Avacta having none. Omega and Avacta still looking like the future. Novacyt and other similar companies unless they evolve their time consuming pcr methods will slowly fade away.

i think we will should be slightly behind NCYTs m cap. We have really good products, not just one, but no significant sales confirmed as of yet. 1gbp right now should be a fair valuation IMO, but lots of potential.

let's just hope the UK government is paying top dollar and ODX is not giving out these kits for low profit. But at least we have UK covered now.

Merchantbanker, great write up. ODX is not a one product wonder and has an evolving COVID 19 product line. If one product fails to sell , at the least the others have a good chance they will. I like the change of strategy from directors and timelines you mention, there are around 600 covid diagnostic products to chose from listed on the FDA website so competition will be fierce globally but I am very positive for this. Omega are doing the right thing and concentrating on the UK primarily. I like it and we should be at 1 gbp soon

we have been from 180p to 1000p within the space of a year 5-6 years ago. Things are different now, with Seres giving as an indicator how much we should be really worth.

You seem to get it, but I think we will get closer to Seres Therapeurics market valuation on the back of promising results rather than just 171p.

cammy, relax. yes, you may be correct , it may go down near 2- 2.5p to test investors as there is no news expected for a couple of months for the joint Avacta partnership deal to commercialize. That is just AIM and you should ask yourself why it up from 2p to 5p in the first place. Always prepare for these types of scenarios. A LTH holder like me isn't bothered with 30% swings in a week tbh, you just need to develop a strong nerve.

Those were the good old days of Todd Kozel, GKP and the so called would-be trillion dollar company. I made 300% o the back of hype then sold thanks to Tom Winnifrith's warnings. That was the era when TW was always right , unlike now lol.

I actually hold a fair amount of BTC. I only sell off what I need and try to keep CGT to a minimum. I don't have a problem with paying CGT because that is how countries work, and the UK is a good country compared to most.

thanks jay. good info. z cash is a bit like LINK and too risky. I tend to trade bitcoin and ETH in sizable amounts, very easy to trade those two!

interesting econ. thx. i only pay 10% on cgt for the gains on btc. but that is the only negative, the positives far outweigh the negatives, 60% vs 110% is almost double and 10% cgt is nothing tbh.

But i assume ARB must already be paying some form of dividend and buying back stock I assume, so being in a sipp could be a good idea.

So you are saying if bitcoin doubles and reaches $21,000, ARB will be 11.5p . 11.5p was around the price it was when it IPOed and when bitcoin was $7200 on September 3 2018??? Can anyone clarify? This company should be raking in the profits , setting up mining machines in this climate and making money from it is not that difficult!
