Also, that 9,475% up is based on my purchase price, but as stated on here a few weeks back, I did take my initial stake out on the spike at the end of 2010, which only involved me selling a small fraction of my holding as the prices were similar to those of today.

· the employment of new manufacturing, product engineers and commercial staff in support of the deployment of H-PowerTM systems into the Company's key target markets (electric vehicles and construction);

· the development and implementation of its strategy for scale up of manufacturing and system assembly;

· an acceleration in the development of the Company's AlkaMemTM anion exchange membrane with scale up of manufacture and validation testing pre commercial deployment; and

· the delivery of solid-state membrane fuel cell system (HydroX-Cell(S)TM) for published target release date in 2022 which the Directors expect will open new markets.

In addition, the Fundraising will also support and finance the warranties required in connection with systems deployed into commercial applications.

No chance of a fund raise anytime in the next 12 months, even if sales have gone ballistic, because the sales pipeline allows AFC to used debt finance.

The fund raise in July 2020, it said in the RNS that the money would cover everything for 12-24 months, including all of the expected pipeline of orders.

There is absolutely zero chance of AFC being bought out any time before the end of 2022. Ask any CEO why they would risk spending probably over £1Bn but could be £2Bn or even £3Bn next year, buying a company that has only just moved from R&D to sales, and have only had their products running at commercial installations for up to 18 months (@ end of 22), they wouldn't, it's as simple as that.

Dream on. Maybe in 2023, zero change of that happening this year, risk is too high, need to wait to see sales, profitability levels, system longevity, and support proven.

How to start the transition to electric

Petrol stations are already strategically placed in locations according to driving patterns. The installation of EV chargers at these locations will create a network that will be convenient for drivers, no matter where they are. Often, there is no need for major changes in layout and customers are likely to spend more time at the station when charging EVs than when filling petrol.

In some instances, this high-power charging requirement may mean upgrades are needed to the power infrastructure near the petrol station in terms of grid capacity and grid interconnection.

Preparing for a cost-efficient transition

It is essential to utilize equipment that is modular, scalable and future proof as the EV landscape continues to rapidly evolve over time. For example, if a petrol station installs three chargers and builds the power grid connection accordingly, it will be difficult to scale up when demand for charging grows. An alternative is to install a modular and relocatable solution, that can be expanded as needed. The solution can be relocated, allowing station owners to move it to newer high-demand locations if there is a shift in demand and provide charging support without the need for changing the layout of an existing site while evaluating potential grid upgrades.

One of the ways to enable cost efficiency is to install energy storage, which reduces the need to draw energy from the grid during peak hours, incentivizing more station owners to make the transition to EV charging. In areas with renewable power or fuel cells, storing energy and transferring surplus back to the grid makes the charging process both sustainable and economically advantageous.

The increased interest and investment in the hydrogen energy sector in the past year is almost certain to be sustained due to the growth needed to fill the gaps in energy demand that cannot be met by other forms of electricity, according to a report from broker finnCap.

Ahead of the publication of the UK government’s national hydrogen strategy, which has been promised for “early 2021”, the report says Westminster’s buy-in to hydrogen technology is one of several reasons why “this time it’s for real” for this store of renewable energy.

“The growth of hydrogen stocks throughout 2020 has demonstrated widespread confidence in its potential to fulfil an urgent need for clean energy,” says Jonathan Wright, finnCap’s director of research.

“We believe that this momentum will be maintained throughout 2021 as technology and key partnerships continue to develop. Whilst significant private and public funds will need to be directed to scaling up the sector, hydrogen is critical to achieving global net zero climate ambitions.”

A large handful of hydrogen stocks are identified in the report as having risen by more than 1300% on average over the last two years, including AFC Energy PLC (LON:AFC), Ceres Power PLC (LON:CWR), ITM Power and Proton Motor Power in the UK, plus McPhy Energy, NEL, PowerCell Sweden, SFC Energy, Ballard Power Systems (TSE:BLDP), FuelCell Energy (NASDAQ:FCEL), Plug Power (NASDAQ:PL) and Doosan Fuel Cell overseas.

The one's that sold and want to buy back cheaper are crapping themselves, as they'll lose shares if they have to buy back in at a higher price to get the shares back.

The day traders that went short are crapping themselves, because it's not going as low as they need it to, so they are sitting on a loss that won't become a profit unless they can get the price down further.

AUDI are in the Hydrogen Council, the place where CEO's meet and try to push the Hydrogen Economy forward. The CEO of AUDI will know all about the AFC Charger and may well have met AB at the conferences. If AUDI are worried about the infrastructure and want to build their own charging network, they could always build it around Green Ammonia and AFC EV Chargers ....

Audi is a Volkswagen subsidiary, and Duesmann presented a draft plan for a fast-charging infrastructure with at least 200, and up to 400 stations, to the board of the Group. Sportscar brand Porsche, which is also part of the group, could also become part of the exclusive charging network, according to the report."

Yes, it's obvious from the new names and the negativity being spun today, that day traders and the "I'll sell a few and get them back cheaper tomorrow" crowd are at it again.

It was very quiet for days, then we hit 80p+ and BOOM, everyone is suddenly moaning about the price (which hasn't changed much over the past 3-4 weeks actually, just mild fluctuations of a few pence wither way, and we are STILL over £500m MCap) and posting negative spin.

I'm guessing it's not worked for them so far, possibly due to the news and tipped on The Armchair Trader, so I expect the garbage posts to continue or even increase, as they are now stuck in a position where they are crapping themselves in case news arrives at 7am and they lose money, I really hope that happens, but they'll not learn from it, just mosey on to the next stock and hope for a win.

At least the UT trade went with the ASK price today.
