Exit strategies of Long Term Holders22 Apr 2020 12:22
Everyone has different strategies here and I would be interested to from other long term holders about their plans. I say long term holders as I know many of you have a million or more shares.
I may even change mine if I see better ideas.
After 6 years I have accumulated 2 million shares at an average price of just under 1p. If you had asked me 5 years ago when I bought one tranche of shares at 0.06p that they would get to above 7p I wouldn't have believed you.
Strategies change and the reason I haven't sold out is this story just keeps getting better. My strategy at the moment for selling my holding is as follows
9p ish 100,000
10p ish 100,000
11p is 100,000
all the way to 20p by wich time I will have £174,000 and 800,000 shares valued at £160,000. It could be these go to 50p, I'm perhaps dreaming here but it is possible.
This is only an outline of a plan and will no doubt change many times for the following reason.
1 A full takeover og GGP
2 An offer for Haverion
3 An offer for Scally
4 A real pullback or dip or treeshake whatever you want to call it when I may buy back some of the stock I sold.
5 The unforeseen or know unknowns
6 I die and leave the lot to my spouse who will just sell em no doubt.
As I say I am interested to here how others see this panning out over the next, 3 months, 6 months, 1 year and beyond.
