RE: CDL Upside | Adjacent projects $4BIL + $27BIL | Aus is Tier1 | 50P+11 May 2026 07:42
Morning all,
The Regis–Vault merger is a signal worth paying attention to. Large gold producers are back in growth mode, and when organic reserve replacement gets harder, M&A becomes the faster path. Western Australia remains the go-to jurisdiction — stable, infrastructure-rich, and well understood geologically.
This doesn't make CDL suddenly worth billions — it's still an early-stage explorer. But in a strong gold market, when majors consolidate, junior ground in the right districts gets re-rated fast.
Cloudbreak sits ~10 km from the operating Darlot mine, with strong geological similarities already flagged in company releases. The merged Regis-Vault hub in Leonora only sharpens focus on the wider Darlot trend — and that means increased corporate interest in nearby ground through farm-ins, JVs, or acquisitions.
The rest comes down to execution. Right commodity, right jurisdiction, right time. I wouldn't want to miss the boat.
