Been reducing my average and the lowest I paid was 19 Apr 2023 .44p

My current av is 0.8669p

The war in Ukraine has also put the EU to the sword.

Germany needed the cheap energy that the Angela Merkel sorted. With Nordstream gone and high energy Germany cannot compete and without Germany the EU is a busted flush

It also needing to be said the EV pipe dream is costing Germany ... Its car industry is at the cliff edge. Demand is weak for these type of car ..

Lloyds wanting to be biggest landlord and up sell pensions etc.

What I am not understanding is why they not taking over firms that specialize in those areas and tap into the expertise. Quilter and Grainger would have been on my shopping list.. Is not as if Lloyds is just one business. You know what I am saying?

Number 2 is the constant interest rate hikes which has not really control the inflation but has sent thousands of business to the wall.

Number 3 is QT and buying back the long dated bonds instead of letting the bonds reach term to maturity as US is mainly doing. The bonds in the USA are up to 20 years shorter dated. Going to cost tax payer up to £60bn this year and maybe £40bn next

Number 4 maybe cancelling the leg of the HS2 we not know the penalty clauses..

Number 5 failed asylum / immigration.. Estimate I read says £6bn a year... Rwanda is a dead duck..
